"He is going to do something absolutely crazy again, I know it." Su looked at Gil while the two of them stood at a slight distance watching as Walker appraised the frits for Remey and Midnight.

"You and I both knew that everything he does is insane in a way. But he is always thinking of several things at once. I feel like he stopped that for a while to focus on Alice, the growth of Genesis, and then the small trip to help the true dark sage with the hollow eyed race. Now, he is dedicating all of those thoughts to the worst case scenario."

Su and Gil both understood.

They were their own leaders and their own protectors. The people they stood for were the same as Walker, however, they had strengthened the people more than themselves. While they still grew and stood out, they had made a clear distinction in their focus to share more knowledge and training with others.

They had become role models and teachers that were more hands on. They grew and learned alongside the people because that was how the people could see and grow faster with them.

Walker did this too, but he also broke the mold.

He would be teaching others but then radically leap the topics and ideas ahead supporting geniuses and also causing those who believed themselves less than to break from that thinking and carve out a new path in their own profession.

The best part was that most of the time Walker was not worrying about social standings or overall skills. He was looking at the potential.

That alone was a reflection of an innate closeness in time mana from what the rest of the party had begun to understand. He had been the one to explain to them the true value and uses in time mana.

How it could not be manipulated to change the place in time someone stood or to speed or slow down the time of existence. It could be incorporated in to isolated spaces and that would create a flow, but speeding things up or altering the way life mana and death mana existed? That was not possible.

Instead, he explained to them that time mana could help grasp potential. To see what might be if someone were to push and strive for a goal. To show what might have a chance of being if a skill was focused on.

Whether he realized it or not he was following potential more and more by looking at the little things. By following his gut instincts and learning about whatever he ended up around.

Whether Walker knew it or not, the party fully understood his nature as someone who brought about change as they moved through the world and even beyond it. He wasn’t a traditional hero any more by comparison to the story books they knew.

He had changed in to something new to them. A hero who had the title and protected others, but also fostered the growth of everything, not just the people.

The fact that he had been able to ensure that the best of the best people to handle the harmed monsters including the growth of the tamer’s guild as a whole was proof of that. They were maintaining the monsters and the safety of the wilderness within the world. Making sure that it would not fade and cease to be.

"He also heard us so we should ask why he is holding up those little black round berries."

"Walker smiled and threw a handful at him. "They are basically like blueberries but they have dark mana in them making them taste like a sweet mushroom. They can help your body adapt to the dark mana and lack of other manas. It’s a strange effect but I believe Remey will have more use of it. For now we should all eat some since we might encounter some rough manas out there."

Walker saw everyone take a few and stored away a few younger roots in the dark multi dimensional storage he had. He didn’t even feel the pressure from the multidimensional storages any longer. He adapted to them and made them a closer, more intricate part of who he was.

In doing so he felt that he also enhanced the central storage that he had created. The garden area expanded slightly due to all of this but so did the health of the plants he brought in to it and the tiny insect monsters now living there.

It was a wonder that he had been able to hold such a place himself, but the origin race was the key to that. The balanced mana within him and that he manipulated also contributed to such things.

"I have a theory I want to test out once we are in a more empty area." Gil glanced at Walker who seemed to have a theory about this. "I draw mana around me to make the high elven dagger technique have more effects on the dagger strikes and defenses. I also use channeling to make elemental arrows without materials too, that is an advancement in my class and myself. But what if there is no mana around me or there is thin manas around me?"

The others understood and Midnight frowned since she couldn’t imagine a situation in the world where they would not have any mana around them at all. It wasn’t normal and would require a lot of different skills to make happen.

Plus people would not be able to wear anything with mana gathering rune formations on it. Or be anywhere near any naturally formed runes or dungeons that attracted mana since they were also somewhat a naturally formed rune as well.

"If you want to see if you can use your mana instead or pull at a more unique form of mana then we can try it. Whatever mana is out there I can cut it from you slightly so that you are in that position. It’s similar to our training but even more strict."

Walker also considered trying this with Gil. Gil had joined him in training and removing his mana senses so that they could focus just on their body. But they did not go to such an extreme that they would be cut off entirely from all mana as a whole.

If they pursued this, it could open their minds to new ideas about how mana worked. However, there was some danger in this since they had no idea what could happen or what might happen in terms of their bodies when they were in a perfect mana void.

They had isolated peoples mana or the mana around them so that they could not use certain manas. That halted skills and broke concentration. But it was not the same as this at all.

"You both might be at risk so it would be perfect if we managed to be in a slightly safer spot than just out in the middle of the unknown." Su’s point was very clear. She did not want to risk defending them from a creature out there in the unknown and chaos. Primarily since she would need to rely on just herself, Midnight, and Remey to fight whatever might come knocking.

And that was assuming they could even fight whatever it may be. Some beings put here were impossible to combat due to their age, strength, and unknown skills. Even their unknown state of being!

"Just because I can heal you both with potions and Walker can heal you using skills or whatever doesn’t mean we can fix it all." The point Remey made was like a mother telling their child with no chance of resistance not to do something. Both gil and Walker made the choice silently to still attempt this but within a better state. A better place after they traveled about.

"If we find another origin race ever, I will ask them to look over us. So far all of the origin races are concerned with bigger things. If one is willing to offer advice and guidance then maybe they will protect us for a moment?" Gil said this but it was like taking the words from Walker’s mouth.

With a small smirk, Gil showed he had said exactly what he expected Walker to say next. It was all too perfect. The two of them were more like different looking twins right now rather than two entirely different people with different skills and lives.

"You two are going to make us all go crazy one day. Shouldn’t we be worried about crafting dungeons too?" The dramatic sigh came as Remey stepped ahead of them and changed the focus. They had a whole wide unknown ahead of them to look in to, no reason that they couldn’t explore while they fantasized about new training methods.
