Chapter 310: Chapter 310: West Vs Bloodstain
Iron Vultures members attempted moving closer and several Shadow Reapers members did too.
Jax quickly raised another series of ice walls. "Private event."
"Tickets sold out."
"Please remain seated."
Despite the joke, nobody was laughing.
The pressure radiating from within the frozen enclosure was already beginning to rise.
Meanwhile inside... Bloodstain slowly looked around.
The gigantic frost walls surrounded both him and West, completely isolating them.
For a moment he looked confused before letting out a loud booming laugh. "You idiot."
West smiled while Bloodstain spread his arms. "You trapped yourself in here with me?"
The blood aura surrounding him intensified as his grin widened. "Nobody can help you now."
West’s shook his head while chuckling. "Oh... I think you misunderstand."
Bloodstain frowned as West slowly took a step forward.
The atmosphere changed, filled up with a strange predatory energy as West’s body started growing.
Bones cracking sounds rang out as his muscles expanded, stretching his cloth and dark blue fur rapidly spread across his skin.
Long glowing fangs extended from his mouth, bony spines erupted from his back and his eyes transformed into glowing blue-white orbs.
Dozens of glowing blue footprints appeared across the ground around them as he reached a height of eight feet.
Bloodstain’s eyes widened and his smile instantly vanished the moment the transformation was completed.
The Void Fang Predator that stood before him once more was the same beast responsible for the destruction of Iron Vultures.
The same beast responsible for everything...
For several seconds... Bloodstain simply stared as the silence between them grew.
All of a sudden he let out a broken almost relieved laugh. "HAHAHAHA!"
His shoulders trembled and his fists clenched as blood aura exploded outward from his being. "I knew it..."
Bloodstain’s voice became quieter. "I knew it was you."
The ground beneath his feet cracked, causing the ice walls to tremble as he let out more aura. "I KNEW IT!"
The roar shook the entire enclosure.
Outside the walls, both gangs immediately heard it but were still completely in the dark about what was going on in there.
Bloodstain pointed directly at West with an utterly deranged expression. "I’m not crazy after all."
"I’m not insane."
"It was you."
"It was always you."
Every loss and humiliation he had suffered in these past two months... every setback.... West Einstein was behind it.
West’s distorted voice echoed throughout the frozen arena. "Congratulations."
"You figured it out."
That confirmation only made Bloodstain angrier.
The Tier Two awakened finally unleashed everything without holding back.
The full pressure of a veteran Tier Two erupted outward.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
Blood gathered, pooling from a couple corner of the battlefield with casualties before exploding from the ground.
Massive crimson spikes burst upward and the ice walls shook violently.
Even West could feel the pressure. Bloodstain was undoubtedly powerful. A tier 2 willing to go all out could become an almost unstoppable force...
Bloodstain eyes turned bloodshot as Veins covered his neck. "I will enjoy this."
The blood surrounding him condensed, forming scythes, spears, blades, axes and a dozen other weapons.
He displayed a savagery grin. "I will enjoy ripping you apart limb from limb."
West stared at him before slowly smiling, displacing his glowing fangs.
The smile looked deviously monstrous. "You had it coming."
His distorted voice echoed unnaturally causing Bloodstain’s expression to darken.
West took another step forward and more blue footprints spread across the ground.
The entire enclosure was now covered in them, like glowing trails left behind by a predator stalking prey.
Bloodstain could suddenly feel that something was different... the pressure surrounding West wasn’t Tier One anymore.
At least... not normal Tier One.
The creature standing before him felt dangerous. Why was he feeling danger from a tier 1?
West’s glowing eyes narrowed. "Just like you had this coming."
Bloodstain roared and attacked, sending dozen of blood weapons forward.
The ground exploded, spikes erupted beneath West and a massive blood scythe descended from above.
Bloodstain turned into a crimson blur, racing toward West.
However, just when he was a few feet away from reaching his target, a glowing footprint appeared behind Bloodstain.
He turned his head to the side, spotting the glowing footprint but the moment he peered back ahead, West was gone.
He appeared directly behind Bloodstain, instantaneously.
The Void Fang Predator’s fist shot forward.
BOOOOOOOOM!
The punch connected with Bloodstain’s side, generating a shockwave powerful enough to crack the surrounding ice walls.
Bloodstain was launched across the enclosure.
His body skipped across the ground, destroying multiple ice formations before finally crashing into a wall.
The entire frozen arena shook but fortunately, Jax was reinforcing it on the outside.
Both gangs paused and stared for a bit because despite not seeing the battle, they could hear that battle had truly began.
The gang leader slowly pressed himself forward from the wall after the attack.
For a brief moment, a faint glow flickered around his body before fading.
West’s eyes immediately narrowed upon seeing that Bloodstain was barely affected by the punch.
The punch had landed cleanly, yet Bloodstain had suffered far less damage than expected.
The only answer was, that the gang leader had an awakened equipment on that offered protection.
It only made sense. As the leader of a veteran gang, it would have been stranger if he didn’t possess expensive awakened gear.
Bloodstain slowly straightened with a grin across his face. "I’m glad you hit first."
West tilted his head slightly as Bloodstain dusted off his shoulder. "Now I know your current strength level."
The grin widened. "It’s absurd."
His blood aura intensified as he added. "Completely absurd for a Tier One."
West merely smiled while Bloodstain pointed at him. "But now that I know where you stand..."
The blood around him gathered. "I’m certain I can get rid of you here."
West chuckled. "Oh?"
Blue footprints lit up beneath him as he stepped forward. "We’ll see."
POOF!
He suddenly vanished.
Bloodstain’s eyes sharpened as West reappeared beside him with a fist shooting toward his ribs.
A wall of blood suddenly materialized between them.
BOOM!
West’s fist crashed into the barrier but instead of resisting completely, the blood suddenly dissolved and his arm passed through.
In the process of going through, the blood instantly solidified again.
West’s eyes widened as his entire arm became trapped.
"Got you," Bloodstain’s smiled savagely as Blood pooled around his right hand
A massive crimson gauntlet formed as he punched forward.
BOOOOOM!
The strike connected with West’s side, launching him across the battlefield.
Chunks of earth exploded beneath him as he flew across the air.
Bloodstain instantly leapt after him, shooting upward like a missile.
He arrived above West’s airborne form and immediately drove the massive blood gauntlet fist downward.
VHOOOM~
The punch was only inches away from contact when West vanished.
The fist missed him causing the ground below to explode.
BOOOOOOOM!
A crater appeared instantly below but before Bloodstain could recover, a glowing footprint appeared above him.
West materialized with his leg swing downward.
CRASH!
The kick connected with Bloodstain’s spine blasting towards the ground.
The newly formed crater doubled in size causing dust to erupt everywhere.
A shockwave rolled across the battlefield.
For a brief moment, Bloodstain remained buried at the center before slowly rising.
Once again, a glow flickered around his body but this time it seemed dimmer than the last time.
West noticed immediately and displayed a small smile.
He shot forward again while Bloodstain stretched his hand.
The blood surrounding him transformed instantly, forming a gigantic crimson scythe.
The blade swept forward, towards the approaching West.
Swwwhiiiiii~
Unfortunately, the scythe sliced through empty air.
He materialized from a footprint behind Bloodstain but another blood weapon was already waiting.
A giant hammer descended from above before he could attack Bloodstain.
West vanished again causing the hammer to obliterated the ground where he once stood.
He reappeared dozens of feet away and two enormous blood blades immediately swung toward him from opposite sides.
West vanished again and again and again as the battlefield became filled with glowing blue footprints.
Each time West appeared somewhere, another attack was already waiting.
Scythes, axes, hammers, spears and all sorts of weapons moved swiftly attacking him upon reappearance.
Bloodstain controlled them all with terrifying focus.
West continuously teleported across the battlefield from one footprint to another causing blue lights to flash continously.
The footprints were becoming dimmer the more he used teleportation and Bloodstain noticed it too.
The veteran’s grin slowly widened as he understood that there was some kind of limit.
West kept moving but the attacks kept coming nonstop.
Until finally, the last footprint dimmed completely as well.
The moment West’s teleportation entered cooldown, Bloodstain’s grin turned vicious. "There it is."
The blood surrounding him exploded outward. "You’re done now!"
Massive blood spikes burst from the ground from West sides and several from behind.
At the same time, dozens of floating blood weapons launched through the air while Bloodstain himself charged forward.
The giant scythe in his grasp swept through the battlefield as he turned into a red blur.
Every escape route was cut off... and every angle completely covered.
