Once the painting had formed, they saw what it was about.

Even though they had watched Lin Fan painting it, it wasn’t as if they had been able to see through the painting since it was more of an abstract painting.

But now that it was displaying itself around them, they knew what he had been painting all this time.

"Are these animals?"

Lin Fan didn’t know how to explain what he had painted to them since it wasn’t as if this was the normal style of painting. There was even a part of him that wondered why the system had guided him to paint something like this.

But he had to admit that this was a great painting.

Lin Fan wasn’t offended that they were doing this since he knew exactly why they were doing this.

They hadn’t been able to do the same thing as Lin Fan since they hadn’t been able to figure out the flaws of those paintings. This was why they were doing this now with his painting.

Since there was this easy flaw to pick out, they wanted to do this for themselves.

It was their way of practicing just in case they were ever trapped in a similar situation as this one, so Lin Fan knew that this wasn’t them making fun of him.

He even wanted them to do this just so they could have this practice.

After a while, the painting broke apart from the prodding of these two.

They had made the flaw bigger and bigger until it broke the very balance of this painting and deactivated the illusion that it displayed.

After the painting fell down, a voice suddenly rang out, "What are you doing? I was enjoying that!"

The three of them couldn’t help shaking their heads with helpless smiles.

After all, they knew that the owner of this voice was just like the poetry elder that they met previously. This was an elder that was filled with passion towards painting, or else they wouldn’t have said that.

"Elder, we’re here to take the trial." Lin Fan gently gave this reminder in the end.

He wouldn’t have given it in the past, but he knew how to deal with people like this now that he had encountered the poetry elder. He knew that there was nothing to lose from giving this kind of gentle reminder.

In the end, he was proven right.

The elder didn’t say anything, but there was another scroll that appeared in front of them.

Only this time, it didn’t seem like there was anything on this scroll.

It didn’t seem like there was even a prompt that he was supposed to follow with how blank this scroll was.

"Go and express yourself. I want to see what you consider beautiful."

There was an awkward feeling that filled Lin Fan.

Lin Fan brought Ye Qing Huan over to where the scroll was and had her stand right under the scroll.

It was only then that he started painting.

At first, it didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing, but it also didn’t seem like he was going to draw on the scroll just yet.

It was only when the brush finally made contact with the scroll that his expression changed. It was as if his eyes lit up like they had suddenly been filled with inspiration.

Once Lin Fan’s eyes lit up like this, there was no stopping the brush in his hand as it slid across the scroll in front of him. It looked like he had been possessed by something with the way that his hand moved back and forth.

When it was finally over, there was only silence that lingered in the air.

There wasn’t a single person that was able to say anything in response to the painting that he had created.

It wasn’t as if this was because this was a bad painting. It was more that they just didn’t have any words that would be able to capture the beauty of this painting.

But they didn’t need to say anything since the painting already spoke for itself.

All of a sudden, the painting started to glow and it didn’t take long for the illusion to appear.

However, this wasn’t an illusion that changed the surroundings at all.

There was only a single thing that appeared after the illusion was triggered and it was something that was very familiar.

There was only a single woman standing there, but she attracted everyone’s gaze the moment that she appeared. Her beauty really was unparalleled, something that one could only see in a century.

It was made even more dazzling since there were two of the same faces that were standing there.

What Lin Fan had painted was Ye Qing Huan and he had been able to capture 99% of her beauty in this painting.

It wasn’t that he wasn’t able to capture that last percent of her beauty, it was that he felt that this was what was needed. After all, there was no painting in the world that could perfectly capture everything.

There was always this small something that couldn’t be captured and could only be seen in the moment.

However, that actually made the picture more perfect.

"I see, so that’s what’s in your heart. But it isn’t as if that’s a bad thing." The elder said from the perspective of someone that was properly appreciating the art.

But there was a wide smile that was on Ye Qing Huan’s face when she saw this picture.

After she fully appreciated it, she came over to Lin Fan’s side and actually pushed him over. She didn’t hold back at all as she pushed him, sending him right to the ground.

However, Lin Fan knew that this wasn’t her making things hard for him.

Rather, it was because she felt shy that he had done something like this.

She was happy that he had painted her like this.

Lin Fan honestly was quite surprised that he had been able to do this in the first place since he didn’t expect the system to actually activate. But the moment that he brought the brush to scroll, it showed him everything that he needed to do.

When it was over, even Lin Fan admitted that he was quite proud of this painting that he made.

He even wanted to take it back with him if possible, but he didn’t know what the elder would do.
