"Well, I think it was nice. They did not fight or threaten us. They even gave Midnight a gift ?" Su saw this was what had happened for the most part and just leaned in to the positive about it. She also had sensed the manas around them and the overall positive calm feeling. It just made sense to see it as positive.

"That being gave Midnight a light space bead. It’s a small part of an elemental plane that follows the flow of the mana within it and eventually will dissipate entirely. If we release it from the deal that it is under it will have enough mana to light up the sky in the middle of the night for about five seconds."

Walker had appraised it and found no quantitative use for it or dangers of any form. Instead he was just glad that they had seen something positive like this that could help everyone as a whole.

The elemental planes had been calming to view and unique. But also, they had been able to push past the ideas that they were looking at differences in a larger elemental plane and a developed one kept safe and sound. It was a different approach but one that had proven a great deal of difference that occurred depending on the individual and their values out here as well.

The little light bead was sitting right on Midnight’s hand like it carried no weight. It also seemed to follow her about when she released it. Even somehow dimming and becoming unseen when she didn’t want it to be seen.

Whatever the sealing magic used around the space and mana was, it was highly advanced and enough to prove that whatever skills Walker wished to learn about sealing were nothing but the tiniest scratch on the surface of the subject.

He couldn’t gather much information about it either. It was like the very structure and how it was intentionally hidden. Just enough left to see beyond it so that he would be able to theorize and enjoy the potential of everything rather than anything else.

"I wonder if we will meet more like that one." The open ended curiosity was enough for everyone to look at Midnight and wonder too. They would prefer to meet those with kindness and respect a slogan as they showed the same to them.

"This is a very large unknown. We might meet things we can’t even define as kind or unkind." Walker made a good point too. But the group froze the moment that they saw the massive size of the earth elemental plane ahead of them.

Well, earth might have been true, but metal might be more accurate. And large... Well, the size was greater than what they had imagined finding. Not to mention the other smaller elemental planes entirely overshadowed by it nearby as well.

’Shifting metal elemental plane

This is a smaller elemental plane with incredible dense earth mana. It caused a change in the mana to become both gravity, metal, and certain other forms of earth mana that can only occur when the earth mana is as dense as it is here.

This causes an extremely large amount of different materials such as ores, pure metals, and valuable mana gems to be created.

This elemental plane in particular has caused several fights between smaller beings that wish to keep it for themselves, however, with the intervention of a youthful origin being placing a unique set of runic seals on it, there is the allowance for every being to harvest once from it within seventy years of encountering this elemental plane.

Larger versions of this elemental plane would be owned or have stronger restrictions on them.

The influence of smaller other elemental planes has caused there to be some surface unique materials that absorb those manas and create dual, triple, or in extremely rare cased quad elemental affinity materials.

Harvesting them requires care but as long as the rules and regulations are followed then the rune formations will not cause harm to those mining for materials here....’

A flash of white and green runes appeared causing everyone to suddenly sense the rules here.

’You may harvest once from this small plane every seventy years.

You may not steal from others in the vicinity of this plane.

You may not claim this as yours.

You may not harvest what may permanently damage this resource.

You may not wake the guardian of this plane or else they may consume you.’

"So this is... different."

"I feel like it might be better to ignore it? If I punch the wrong thing I could get literally eaten!" Remey had her own perspective but it was not wrong here since she wanted to remain on the safe side rather than play a risky game.

While unusual for Remey, she knew that with their luck they would walk right next to whatever guardian was there and bother them. However, Walker had different ideas since he was looking more carefully and spreading his mana senses out to see what else was here.

"I would say we are safe to explore a little and harvest out one thing each. It might be valuable for us to learn from places like this. I have a feeling that whatever was fighting over this however long ago annoyed the origin being and caused these rules. But now it is just natural and part of the rules plain and simple."

After a moment, Su stepped forward first and they stepped ahead too with her at the front. The change in pressure and the density of earth mana was hard to handle but each of them were able to without too much trouble.

The view change though? That was astonishing.

It was like they had stepped in to a world just made of mountains. Mountains made of metals and gems at that!

’Gravity emerald

This is an emerald that was once made of earth mana crystals. However, under the constant condensing of earth mana and gravity, there was a change to structure that gave it the ability to hold and transfer gravity mana specifically. Because of this it carried a larger pressure around it at all times.

There is a massive benefit in using it as a material to craft a mages staff. This is because it can allow for a form of passive gravitational pressure to be used a sling as mana is fed to the staff...’

This is a form of the purest and most unique earthen platinum. It can be used to craft weapons that easily and greatly transfer lightning along them. To the point that it can even be used to create unique lighting related golems, gears, swords, shields, and armor that entirely channel or protect from the strongest forms of natural and unnatural lightning...’

’Mountain iron

This iron is basic in terms of rarity, but the quality is perfect. This iron would be considered the best of the best iron that can be used when forging anything...’

Walker constantly read out loud the material appraisals that he saw. Everyone else was entirely stunned by the massive rolling mountain view and the sheer numbers of materials they could see.

Not just this, but they saw mountains made of those materials!

What other reaction could they see?

"This rock is harder than my scales." Midnight was scrutinizing the tough rock she couldn’t break. She didn’t like that it wasn’t breaking under her foot when she thought it looked weak.

’Spongy copper

This is a deceptive copper. It is tougher than most materials and due to its natural structure forming holes within it, it is extremely hard to break. It is necessary to use extreme heat to the shape for forging, crafting, or to generally break it...’

She shook her head and looked for something else. Clearly Midnight was not enjoying the fact that she had been beaten by a rock. Then again, only she would be unhappy that she couldn’t break a rock and her scales might not be as tough as said rock.

The others laughed slightly, lightening their moods while they made their choices of what to harvest. Walker in particular looked at the slightly glimmering gems forming along a slightly flatter area that seemed to have multiple affinities. He could easily snag a larger piece and be happy.

Just coming here was valuable information when they all thought about it. Even more so that this was a massive elemental plane that was safe to explore, and other beings or races would not attempt to fight here because a powerful being had set rules.

It was another event of note that would be shared with anyone who one day was able to travel where to explore.
