The Armor-Piercing Cannon, on the other hand, was far more convenient. It had a high Fire Rate. While it couldn’t penetrate the King Spine Zerg’s tough Outer Armor, it could at least prevent its superficial wounds from healing too quickly.

This was the difficulty in attempting a Tier Jump Kill against a superior lifeform. Sometimes the gap in power was so vast that the maximum Damage you could inflict couldn’t even outpace the target’s regeneration.

’...this precious chance to finish it off would vanish in a flash!’

However, the words Ling Yi had repeated to them before their assault still echoed in his ears.
