After Lin Feng and his team spent over half a month meticulously blocking the underground magma tributaries, the creature had shown little reaction. It merely continued to absorb geothermal energy from the volcano’s crater, completely unaware.

But now, after constantly accumulating heat from deep underground, this active volcano connected to the Earth Core was like a boiling kettle, spewing scalding steam from its mouth...

This was far hotter than the thousand-degree molten magma within the volcano.

Even for a King Spine Zerg, a member of the High-tier Zerg Race, the searing wash of molten iron would still inflict grievous wounds.

The two-to-three-thousand-degree liquid metal scoured its body, and under the terrifying upward thrust of the eruption, the nearly one-thousand-ton King Spine Zerg was blasted directly into the air.

The half of its body that had been submerged in the molten metal was burned and riddled with holes.

Like a kite with a snapped string, it followed the magma and debris scattering from the crater, arcing through the sky before landing on the earth more than ten kilometers away, its fate unknown.

At this moment, the King Spine Zerg was five kilometers ahead of them, struggling to get back on its feet and escape the collapsing ground behind it.

Grievously wounded, it could not withstand another roasting at two thousand degrees.

Its entire body was covered in heavy Golden armor, but the right half of its form had been scorched and shattered by the molten iron from the eruption.

Otherwise, an ordinary Tier Three Life Form would have perished on the spot.

And because it had managed to pull half its body out at the last second, its current State after escaping death was merely one of being greatly weakened.

To finish it off for good, the trio would have to give it everything they had in one last, desperate fight.

Immediately, Lin Feng raised and aimed the Electromagnetic Cannon, its muzzle spitting tongues of fire.

Over a hundred Armor-Piercing Cannon shells rained down in just over ten seconds, each one precisely striking the torn and shattered half of its body.

Even so, the Armor-Piercing Cannon rounds, with a Damage rating of 900, only managed to leave small, half-meter-wide craters on its already scorched, Shattering Outer Armor.

Ling Yi observed the situation from the side:

"This King Spine Zerg’s Outer Armor is a meter thick. The volcanic eruption only penetrated seventy to eighty centimeters, and with the repairs it’s undergone since then, your attack probably isn’t very effective!"

Lin Feng’s expression was grim; he had, of course, already noticed this.
