Chapter 313: Chapter 313: The Wheel Of Fortune Favors The Bold [Part 2]

← Ch. 312 All Chapters Ch. 314

’I missed my chance,’ Leone thought to himself, believing that the Wheel of Fortune would start giving out duds now that there had been three consecutive winners.

Well, his belief was wrong.

As if to slap him in the face, his vassals won one prize after another!

Ulric won a Super Rare Armor.

Brann won an Epic-Grade Sword.

Otto won a pair of Super Rare Shoes that would allow him to fly in the sky.

Logan won a Belt of Giant Strength, making him more powerful.

As for Rasta, he had won a staff that greatly amplified his shamanic magic.

"What the..." Leone was speechless. "Eight wins in a row?"

His voice even shook with disbelief. Time and time again, he wished to spin the wheel himself. But every time, he held back, thinking the luck of the Aslan Tribe would surely be used up already.

Logically, a dud should be next, right? And he didn’t want to be the one to trigger it first!

Not far from him, Elias and Tianna were also speechless. They were starting to think that they were now seeing the culprit behind Aslan Tribe’s inexplicably fast growth.

’It must be because of this Wheel of Fortune!’ Elias clenched his hands subconsciously.

"Um, how about you spin the wheel, Vlad?" Leone said with a smile.

"Can I really spin it?" Vlad’s eyes were filled with excitement.

"Of course!" Leone rested his hand on the teenager’s shoulder. "Good luck!"

"Thank you!" Vlad hurried to the spinning wheel and held the handle. He then spun it with all of his might, looking very excited to see what kind of prize he would get.

Leone felt a bit guilty. After all, he was the one who had pushed Vlad to spin the wheel. After all, what if he got a dud? Vlad might become heartbroken if that really happened.

Though, just as he was feeling anxious, the pointer finally stopped at the [???] symbol.

[Congratulations! You have won Dreamweaver’s Brush!]

[This brush will be soulbound to you!]

A brush then manifested in front of Vlad, to which the young man subconsciously reached out to hold it.

His body then trembled as the brush’s user manual was imparted directly into his head.

Vlad blinked once, then twice, before looking at the brush in his hand.

He then tried to draw something using the air as his canvas. As if waiting for that moment, a scroll the size of his body appeared, and Vlad drew on it as if he were an artist who had been enlightened.

A minute later, dozens of colorful butterflies flew from the canvas and fluttered around their master, as if thanking him for manifesting them, even if only for a brief moment.

The butterflies lasted for nearly a minute before turning into particles of light, disappearing once more.

"Amazing..." Vlad couldn’t help but look at his brush with awe. "This is amazing!"

Although the butterflies only lasted for a short time, Vlad wasn’t disappointed. In fact, he understood that what he did was only a test.

He believed that he could create more creatures that would last longer once he mastered the art of using the Dreamweaver’s Canvas.

"Thank you, Leone!" Vlad was so happy that he hugged his idol tightly. "This is the best gift ever!"

"I-I’m glad you liked it!" Leone stuttered in surprise.

Vlad had surprised him. Of course, a hug wouldn’t startle him that much. It was the Status Page of the brush the younger man now owned.

’I-Isn’t this too broken, Daedalus?!’ Leone asked in disbelief. ’It’s Legendary Grade!’

’In a way, yes,’ Daedalus replied. ’However, it’s not an almighty ability. Vlad’s drawings would not last more than ten minutes. Aside from that, he could only manifest one drawing at a time.’

Elias looked at Vlad with pure, unrestrained envy.

He also painted in his free time. If that brush had been his, he could’ve manifested things in reality as well.

"How about you try it next, Natalia?" Leone asked.

Truth be told, he was looking forward to what the young lady would win from the Wheel of Fortune.

Of course, he was also waiting for the wheel to give out a dud so he could breathe a little easier.

"Thank you," Tianna said. "I’ll give it a try."

And just like what her brother did, Tianna spun the wheel without expecting anything.

A minute later, the pointer once again stopped at the [???], which made Leone almost choke on his own saliva.

———-

[Congratulations! You have won the Oathbound Heart Rings!]

[Congratulations! You have won the Blessed Child Potion!]

———

Instead of one prize, Tianna actually won two. No one had seen that coming!

’That’s possible?’ Leone asked Daedalus.

’It’s rare, but it does happen,’ Daedalus confirmed.

Soon, the information about the prizes she received flowed into her mind. A moment later, Tianna’s face turned beet red after realizing that what she won was a pair of wedding rings, as well as a potion that guaranteed a successful childbirth!

The rings allowed their wearers to talk to each other through telepathy regardless of the distance.

It also allowed them to pinpoint each other’s location, allowing them to reunite no matter how far they were apart.

After getting her prize, she gave Jason a sidelong glance, which made the young man congratulate her for winning.

"Whoever marries you is a lucky guy, Natalia," Jason said with a smile. "I’m rooting for you."

"T-Thank you," Natalia replied.

Leone immediately noticed that her face had turned a shade redder after hearing Jason’s praise.

Suddenly, Elias asked Leone if he could try spinning the wheel as well.

"Go ahead." Leone nodded. "Good luck!"

Elias had no idea that the chances of winning at the Wheel of Fortune were supposed to be low.

Perhaps blinded by the prizes he saw, he mistakenly thought that the skulls were only there for display.

And so, as if to prove this reality, the pointer stopped at the skull mark, making Elias look at the wheel in disbelief.

"Huh?" Elias looked genuinely confused after getting a dud. "Is this thing broken?"

Leone wanted to say that he had the same opinion a minute ago. But now that the Wheel had finally shown a dud prize, he was finally able to let out a sigh of relief.
