Silver Moon.

Number Two was busy replicating the dao universe. Very few knew of the plan to do so. The eighth ranks with Li Hao sensed an impending storm.

The Thunder Emperor was an impatient sort, but he could bide his time. He wouldn’t have spent a few decades in Dragon Region otherwise. But this time... he felt an unprecedented sense of danger.

Li Hao’s place of seclusion.

The Thunder Emperor and rest had all arrived.

“Fellow Daoist Li...” the former said with a solemn expression. “I’ve constantly received word from people over the past couple of days that they hope for me to... leave the Silver Moon camp. It’s not just me, but also Fog Mountain, the dao chess, and others.

“The ones who approach us are small fry, but they are utterly brazen in wanting eighth ranks to leave their factions. Clearly... this is a very dangerous venture! If it really won’t work, we can just give it up!

“We can always live to fight another day!” intoned the Thunder Emperor. “I know that Allheaven Hall is very important to the fellow daoist, but... it’s gotten too dangerous. It might be safer for us to lie low for now.”

“Fellow Daoist Li...” sighed Fog Mountain. “I see... a dark future! A path of gloom stretches before us!”

He could see their fate! The future was very dangerous.

The dao chess didn’t make a sound, but it was also quite resigned and dejected. It’d thought that this was a chance for Li Hao to grow stronger, but failure was staring them in the face before they even had a chance to begin.

It was too depressing.

It’d gone to a great deal of effort transporting to various directions during this period of time. The treasure had even spent some of the wealth that Silver Moon had accumulated. But in the end... they were going to fail all the same.

It’d thought that they could conceal themselves for a period of time. But somehow, word had gotten out before they’d finished their enterprise. All of the chaos knew now.

“The alliance of mid worlds is so unreliable!” the dao chess cursed to itself. “It would’ve been better to make our preparations in secret if we’d known this would be the case! We could’ve recruited people bit by bit and constructed an alliance in the dark...”

These guys are really lousy!

Although they’d conducted similar undertakings in secret before, none of them had borne fruit. And now it’d only taken a few months for the entire chaos to be aware of their plans. This was ridiculous!

“Let’s go all out!” Void proposed solemnly. “It’ll be hard for us to make another attempt if we fail this one! It might be Reincarnation coming for us at worst this time. We’ll just go head-to-head with them!”

As noncommittal as he was, he didn’t have much hope for their success either. But he didn’t want Li Hao to give up. This kind of opportunity might only come around once.

Silver Moon had fought its fair share of uphill battles in the past, but it’d rarely been public enemy number one or a priority target for overlord figures. Most of the attention had been on New Martial in the past, no one had given much thought to Silver Moon.

This time... New Martial’s designs for the east were just a secondary concern. Stopping Li Hao was of primary importance because the young man’s ideas would threaten the overlords’ positions!

That was the heart of the issue!

Becoming the core of the upcoming conflict for the very first time and finding themselves in undeniable danger left Void speechless. As he thought, taking center stage wasn’t as easy as he imagined.

New Martial had stood in front of them before, but this time Silver Moon was the great enemy. New Martial had taken the backseat.

The Orchid Forest master didn’t say anything. There was nothing to say at this point. The other Silver Moon exalted emperors didn’t have much of a right to speak either. This was a battlefield for the high ranks.

“Fellow daoists... we are besieged by danger on this occasion!” Li Hao said slowly after a while. “I know what I will face. The fellow daoists have helped me many times in the past, so if you wish to leave, I will not stop you!

“You would not be kicking me while I am down, but making a wise decision!” He looked at those assembled. “All good things must come to an end. I was the one who made the unilateral decision and insisted on the path we took.

“In fact, I am a praying mantis attempting to stop a chariot and reaching far beyond my abilities! So there is no need to be embarrassed. Nothing is more important than our own lives!

“I may not die. I have the power of time, so I can escape. It is the fellow daoists who will be in dangerous straits!” Li Hao addressed them softly. “You will be my friend if you go, you will be my friend if you stay. You should make use of the time that we have left!”

Frowns abounded within the group.

“I’m not leaving,” Void rumbled. “Of course, I can’t express anything for the three seniors. When you and I met, I was only a fourth rank. Now I am a seventh rank. I may not be able to help you with much, but I’m not leaving!”

The three eighth ranks frowned as well.

“Fellow Daoist Li, if you think that we’re afraid of death, then you’re very wrong!” The Thunder Emperor was annoyed. “We want more for you to lie low for a while and come back later! We want you to preserve your strength. It’s not that we’re afraid!

“If you insist, then I will not leave! If the fellow daoist is here, then I am willing to fight by your side! We share similar aspirations and walk a similar path. I’ve met all manner of danger in Dragon Region and never compromised on anything!

“I simply find it a bit of a pity for the fellow daoist. Who in this chaos can stand against you after some more time?” The Thunder Emperor thought very well of Li Hao, so he said bluntly, “If you are given another ten thousand, no, one thousand years, the fellow daoist is sure to sweep the chaos! The chaos is very big. The fellow daoist needs only a period of quiet longer before you rise again!”

“I was crippled when I left Skycloud,” Fog Mountain said softly. “I left because I desired freedom. I do not wish to participate in conquest. If the fellow daoist was like New Martial and sought to dominate the east, then I might leave.

“But this time, I hope to see the fruition of Allheaven Hall. It is a very good platform for everyone to discuss dao. There is no need for people to be wary of anything. Identities and strength are not important. There are many in the chaos who desire a venue and opportunity like this. If the fellow daoist insists, then I shall not leave either!”

He craved freedom and did not wish to fight on anyone else’s behalf. What did conquering others have to do with him?

But no matter what Li Hao’s original intentions were, his construction of Allheaven Hall was not meant to dominate anyone else. It would be a key system for the improvement of the chaos and great dao. He was willing to offer his help in this regard.

“I am an imperial treasure...” The dao chess was even more forthright. “I have only one dream, to no longer be a treasure. I would like to be an existence of the same level and not an item in someone else’s hand anymore.

“I did not glimpse such hopes when I was with the Skyward master. Even when he was invincible, he had only one goal in mind for me. If he could not use me, he hoped that others could. I was to be the key of everyone else’s enlightenment!

“He was a remarkable person who thought on many people’s behalf but... mine.” The dao chess’ tones took a self-deprecating bent. “Whereas Fellow Daoist Li Hao... may have shown me some hope.”

Everyone had their own thoughts and reasons, but all firmly believed that they would find the results they wished for.

The Orchid Forest master didn’t even say anything.

“Don’t look at me,” he grinned when Li Hao looked over. “I’m just an initial seventh rank, that’s one thing. The other thing is that my world is gone. The fellow daoist has been the ruin of me! I’d lose out on so much if I left now!

“Third, if the fellow daoist insists, then you are not entirely devoid of hope yet. I’m sure that the fellow daoist knows of the current situation. In that case... why not throw caution to the wind and give things a try?”

Li Hao burst out laughing. The rest of the group blinked as well and Void couldn’t help but ask, “Do you... have more tricks up your sleeves? Or will New Martial come help us?”

“It’ll be hard for New Martial to show themselves.” Li Hao shook his head. “It’d be one thing if they managed to protect themselves.”

“Then... can it be... Long Zhan?”

“That guy might make a move,” laughed the young man. “But he’ll do so to level the playing field. He’ll also abstain from taking action when I’m facing strong enemies. It’d be thinking too highly of him to expect his presence from the very beginning. He’s not a saint!”

“Then...” Void was confused. Do you really have something else in mind? “Borrowing strength from a ninth rank?”

“I really would have a death wish then.” Li Hao shook his head. “Borrowing strength to be a faux seventh rank was nearly the death of me.”

Ninth rank??

Setting aside whether he could do that or not, why should he? He’d never be able to pay that debt off!

“You guys will know soon!” Li Hao grinned. “This is both extreme danger and great opportunity. Since no one is leaving, then let us wait together! The day that Allheaven Hall is formed is the day in which Silver Moon and everyone is known throughout the chaos!

“This time, I’m going to let everyone in the chaos know that I, Li Hao, did not walk out of Silver Moon and make my way to my current heights through New Martial...” The young man grinned brilliantly, but then suddenly dropped off. “I did not rely on New Martial... but that doesn’t include War.”

“......” And what do you mean by that? The War Sovereign’s been dead for such a long period of time. Could he help you or something? He was only sixth rank at his peak!

Li Hao felt a bit awkward as, if he replicated the great dao and it turned out to be the War Sovereign’s, he would have to rely on the ancient being again. He was trying to talk tough, but couldn’t fully back it up.

It looks like I need to develop a thicker face! Damn this is awkward now!

Li Hao laughed and looked into the depths of the chaos. He smiled again. “I’m going to show all sides in the chaos that I, Li Hao, am not weaker than the Human King!”

“......” Silence descended over the crowd. Stop trying to talk tough, man. Do you really believe what you’re saying?

Although no one was certain, they were more at ease, even the eighth ranks. Li Hao was not as domineering as the Human King, but when he was fully confident, they were fully confident as well.

The young man was more reliable than the Human King.

Li Hao quietly took stock of Number Two’s location. Could the cat finish the replication of all of Silver Moon’s dao? It needed to do so as quickly as possible. If the timeline dragged on, then he’d need to think of something to play for time.
