Chapter 360: Chapter 360: Attacked At Trading
Over there, Vikram had already reunited with Lilith and the others.
"How was it, Big Boss Vikram? Did you get any information?" Lilith walked over and asked directly.
"I found out. They’re from White Fox Shelter. They heard about Crimson Desire Shelter’s recent sharp decrease in members, so they came to probe."
Vikram raised an eyebrow and stepped closer, his hand sliding around her waist and resting possessively on her hip. "However, Lilith, you’re a bit ungenerous. I thought with such a good friendship between us, especially the *deep* friendship between us, you would share good news with me."
As he spoke, his fingers gently squeezed her soft curves, pulling her subtly against him.
Lilith’s cheeks instantly flushed. She could clearly feel the heat of his body and the mischievous touch of his hand. She bit her lip, trying to maintain her composure in front of her subordinates.
Then, combining it with Vikram’s words, she understood what he meant. She pouted cutely as his hand boldly slid lower, giving her backside a firm squeeze.
"Are you talking about the resource point, Big Boss Vikram?"
Vikram shrugged noncommittally.
"I advise Big Boss Vikram not to think about getting involved with that resource point," Lilith continued. "The monsters inside are simply not something current survivors can contend with. Moreover, this resource point was discovered first by the Official Shelter. I was only invited to help back then. Even if I wanted to bring someone else, not informing the Official Shelter wouldn’t be in line with the rules."
Although the Official Shelter in this area wasn’t particularly powerful, there were many large Official Shelters throughout the wasteland world, not to mention the behemoth that was the Official Shelter Headquarters. Provoking them required serious consideration.
"Then, if the Official Shelter people come looking again next time, how about you take me along?" Vikram asked.
He had his own considerations. Going together with Lilith would reduce risks and avoid offending the Official Shelter directly. It perfectly suited his cautious style.
Lilith thought for only a moment before nodding. "No problem, Big Boss Vikram. You came all the way here to help us today. I already owe you several favors, so this small request is nothing."
"Good. But now I also need to thank you for the favor," Vikram said with a heated gaze. His hand moved boldly, slipping under her clothes to caress her bare skin directly as he pulled her closer. His voice dropped low, "I really want to fuck you right now."
Lilith blushed deeply but looked happy. She murmured shyly, "You... you also need a few other virgin girls together with me."
Vikram shook his head and denied it firmly. "No. I only fuck those I consider my own." Saying this openly in front of her subordinates, he suddenly picked Lilith up in his arms. She let out a surprised yelp, her face burning red as she buried it against his chest.
"Lead the way to your bedroom," Vikram said with a smirk.
Lilith, blushing furiously, pointed weakly toward the inner area of the shelter while whispering, "O-Over there..."
The subordinates of Crimson Desire Shelter stood frozen in place, their eyes wide with shock. Their Director, the elegant and untouchable Lilith, was being carried away like a bride by Vikram. Some exchanged awkward glances, while others quickly looked away, pretending they hadn’t seen anything. A few even had faint blushes on their faces.
Inside the bedroom, the door had barely closed before Vikram pressed Lilith against it, kissing her passionately. He quickly undressed her, his hands eager as he removed her alluring clothes one by one. Lilith, breathing heavily, returned the favor, her fingers trembling slightly as she undressed him.
The moment Vikram entered her, Lilith let out a sweet, longing moan. "Vikram... ahh... Vikram~" Her voice was filled with both love and lust as she clung tightly to him.
Their passionate union continued for hours. Vikram took her with intense desire, bringing her to peak after peak until he finally watered her deeply twice. By the end, both of them were drenched in sweat and thoroughly satisfied.
Lying in each other’s arms afterward, Lilith traced gentle circles on Vikram’s chest, her voice soft and affectionate. "You’re becoming more and more greedy... but I like it. Stay the night?"
Vikram smiled and kissed her forehead tenderly. "I’d love to, but I have things to handle back at my shelter. Next time, I’ll stay longer and pamper you properly."
He called Phanty and Fiery, then boarded his vehicle and prepared to return.
Before leaving, Vikram looked at Lilith standing outside and then at the repaired shelter behind her. His expression turned slightly serious.
"Lilith, let me give you one piece of advice. Even an iron shelter most likely won’t be able to withstand the coming insect plague. If possible, move your shelter underground as soon as you can."
Lilith was already his woman, and although Crimson Desire Shelter still belonged to her, Vikram naturally didn’t want to see the Shelter she had worked so hard to build destroyed by the coming insect plague.
Watching Vikram’s vehicle gradually disappear into the distance, Lilith silently recalled his final warning. Her expression slowly became solemn.
"Third Brother, catch an insect and test the Shelter’s strength."
Two minutes later.
"Boss, our walls don’t seem to be able to hold off this insect for long."
"The wall’s outer layer was bitten through in two minutes."
"However, our walls are over two meters thick, so as long as the insect plague doesn’t attack 24/7, it should be able to withstand several waves of insects."
Lilith’s eyes gradually became serious; she was clearly very dissatisfied with this result.
However, she was indeed a female Survivor capable of building such a large Shelter, and a plan quickly formed in her mind.
"Pass down the order: all members of the Shelter are not allowed to sleep tonight; everyone will be on guard on the city walls."
"Additionally, find a group of people to dig a trench around the outer perimeter of the Shelter and divert water from the nearby lake to create a moat."
"Act quickly; try to finish before dark."
Digging trenches sounded difficult, but they were in the Wasteland, and with high-level gathering tools, the excavation efficiency was at least ten times that on Earth.
As for the moat, it was just a temporary measure Lilith thought of.
Currently, it was unclear which insects formed the main force of the insect plague, but a temporarily built moat could at least defend against some non-flying crawling insects.
"I hope the insect plague isn’t as terrifying as I imagine."
---
Meanwhile, in the car, Vikram gripped the steering wheel with a serious expression. Even though he had just spent passionate hours with Lilith, his mind remained sharp and focused.
Besides the impending insect plague, various signs indicated that survivors from other forces had begun noticing the wondrous power of special orbs like the Tsunami Wave Orb. He had been the first to taste the sweetness of such abilities.
Whether it was the Tsunami Wave Orb or other powerful orbs needed to evolve his plant beings, their effects were extremely formidable.
He couldn’t stop other survivors from hunting for Magic Orbs, but he had to collect them at the fastest possible speed. Only by firmly suppressing the competition could he truly feel at ease.
The vehicle slowly drove into his territory.
As soon as Vikram got out of the car, he saw Percy and the other two looking worried, and he knew something had happened.
"What’s wrong?"
Vikram looked around but didn’t find any trace of Ron and Draco’s return.
"Ron and Draco have been gone for so long and still haven’t returned?"
The distance from here to Savage Wolf Shelter was not much different from the distance to Crimson Desire Shelter. Ron had left earlier by himself, and Vikram had stayed at Crimson Desire Shelter for quite a while before returning.
Logically, they should have arrived at the Shelter before him.
Percy and Harry nodded and said, "We sent them messages just now. Draco said someone was following them."
"After that, there was no reply."
"Hiss!"
Vikram took a deep breath.
"It can’t be that unlucky, can it? The first time I send them on a solo mission, they encounter a major faction tracking them?"
Vikram was about to call them to try and go out to meet them.
Anjali, however, tugged at his sleeve at this moment, "Vikram, look, it seems like they’ve returned?"
Following the direction of her finger, Vikram indeed saw a familiar minivan and sedan.
Because Vikram didn’t allow them to go alone, several Green Wind members who had only joined at the Shelter previously were also accompanying them.
However, before Vikram could even breathe a sigh of relief, he noticed several subordinates covered in blood inside the car, and Vikram’s eyes gradually turned cold.
Even Anjali, who was hugging Vikram, shivered because of it.
After bringing the group in, Ron spoke up, "Brother Vikram, we didn’t let you down. The scoundrels who tried to follow us back to the Shelter were all killed by us."
After Ron finished speaking, he collapsed directly to the ground.
"Brother!"
Percy’s face changed drastically at the sight. He was the first to rush forward, helping Ron up to check his condition.
"Don’t be afraid, Rom is fine. First, help them to rest."
The moment they returned, Vikram used the system to analyze and scan everyone’s injuries.
There were indeed many large and small wounds, but fortunately, there were no fatalities, nor any cases of zombie virus infection. Ron had only temporarily fainted from excessive blood loss.
He instructed the green wind members to take the other injured to bed to rest.
Vikram, on the other hand, sent Healy to heal them.
The members sent for the transaction returned in the evening, and within a hour, they were all seventy to eighty percent recovered.
Especially Ron, who had been unconscious a few minutes ago. After Healy heals him,he is able to get up within half an hour.
At this moment, Vikram gathered these injured people, first had women in his territory cook a big meal to fill their stomachs, and then asked, "What exactly happened on your way to the transaction?"
"Did the people from the Official Shelter make trouble for you? Was it Evan’s doing? It couldn’t be Kashif Ali, could it?"
Vikram hadn’t forgotten that although the last transaction was completed, in reality, both sides had some unpleasantries.
Especially Abhi, who had deliberately made things difficult for him after Vikram broke one of his arms, he must have been holding a grudge.
Initially, he was a bit worried, but then he thought that Evan didn’t seem like a pedantic person and should be able to manage his subordinates, which was why he let them go.
Draco shook his head, "Boss, they didn’t lay a hand on us during the transaction."
"This time, it was still Kashif Ali who led the team for the transaction, but Abhi seems to have been promoted in the Official Shelter, and Kashif Ali apparently couldn’t boss him around."
"During the transaction, Abhi only mocked a few times, saying that Boss, you didn’t dare to come, but the transaction itself didn’t have any problems."
"The real fight happened on the way back."
Draco paused and recounted in detail everything that happened on the way back to Vikram.
Simply put, a group of people followed them on their way back, trying to track them to the Shelter.
However, Ron discovered them, and the two groups started fighting.
The other party, due to being prepared, had fewer people than them, but their strength was all Survivors with a physique of fifty points.
If Vikram hadn’t made them bring a few more members from Green Wind Shelter, even with Draco and Ron’s physiques, they would have definitely been defeated there today.
"Did you finally figure out who the people following you were?"
Upon hearing this, Ron rummaged through his bag, and several corpses immediately appeared before them.
"These people are the scoundrels who are following us."
