If Black Chains had sent one avatar, they would have ganged up on him without thinking. But now that he had sent all five, including the one for the Death Pathway, which is a Cosmic Dao, they had to rethink their plan of action.

Heavenly Eye said gloomily to the other three, "What do we do now?"

Martial Will didn’t even think as he snorted and said, "Of course, we will go down and fight him. We can’t just watch him take a relic, a Cosmic Dao, and probably another Grand Dao."

As he spoke, he activated the spirit of the Formation Pathway. With him joining the battle, there were now eight avatars on the battlefield.

On one side were one Cosmic Dao, three Grand Daos, and one Major Dao. On the other side were three Grand Daos.

In terms of quantity, one side had the advantage. In terms of quality, the same side had the advantage.

In both cases, Black Chains had come up superior. This might change if Heavenly Eye joins the battle.

Heavenly Eye did want to join the battle. She had been clamoring to be allowed to descend all along, so she definitely didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to go down now that it had come.

However, she wasn’t sure if she should join the battle. This was because Loki had managed to expose the things she was hiding in the Central Domain.

It was true that she hadn’t been able to use her full strength to hide the relic and Golden Sun. After all, it was in the Sea of Worlds, and her strength is limited in the Sea of Worlds. But the simple fact that the power she could display in the Sea of Worlds had been broken meant that it was likely that any avatar that she sent was likely to be broken by the dragon.

There was no way she would believe that he didn’t have a Supreme Metac. This meant that he had found a way to hide his information from her. But if he could hide his information from her, it meant that she would be able to defeat him with her avatar.

’On the positive side, I won’t be fighting the dragon alone. I have four other helpers. With the five of us working together, we will surely defeat the dragon.’

’On the negative side, I don’t trust my partners. And when the dragon dies, we will definitely fight each other for its Divine Tower.’

While she was thinking, the other Dao Lords were wondering what she was up to.

Tepid Scholar frowned and said, "What is the delay? You wanted to go down so much earlier. Why are you holding back now?"

With Tepid Scholar urging her, she decided to stop overthinking and join the battle. But she didn’t send one avatar. Instead, she activated both the Seer Pathway and the Deciever Pathway.

With her joining the battle, there were now ten avatars. On one side was one Cosmic Dao, three Grand Daos, and one Major Dao. On the other side were five Grand Daos.

In this setup, the two sides were barely even. As for what would happen when they actually fight and who would win, that couldn’t be yet determined with any measure of certainty.

The five Dao Lords were still watching from the sky. But they had extended their fingers into the Sea of Worlds.

Down below, Loki had just absorbed the Luck Supreme Metac and was relishing the rush of understanding when the world suddenly became bright.

It felt as if another source of light other than the sun had appeared in the sky. And when he looked up to see where the extra light was coming from, he actually saw more than one sun in the sky.
