At that time, Nelson still thought it was doable, but soon after, the Legendary Master Key appeared, and everyone was thrown out of the Path of Legend.

Thereby, the ’God’ assigned him a new task, which was to acquire the Legendary Master Key from whoever had acquired it.

But Nelson started to feel uneasy instead of relieved, because he had a feeling the Legendary Master Key might be in the hands of the Faceless Ancient, since that guy was too unpredictable, and wherever he went, mysterious and unexpected events followed.

However, Nelson didn’t tell God about this right away because if he was right, he still hadn’t reached that monster’s power level, and rushing after him would only lead to certain doom.

That’s why Nelson pretended to investigate this matter, just like the entire Legendary Plains, while he secretly searched for the Faceless Ancient’s whereabouts or his activities.

Yet Nelson felt immense relief when he thought Jacob was gone for good, and he even shared the news with Lucy and Ellie, who had also become Constants of ATLAS, another benefit of being in contact with a God.

Elia and Lucy, at that time, had already understood what Nelson had done to search for them, and sacrificed his freedom, almost akin to selling his soul to the devil, and both of them couldn’t be more grateful, especially Lucy, as her cold heart seemed to be flattered again for the same man.

Nonetheless, a leopard can’t change its spots, and Ellie and Lucy fall into this category for once they realized just how powerful the ATLAS actually are and Nelson had the backing of a literal God, and even powerful Constant Barons of Timeless City followed his orders, and lastly their nightmare, ’Faceless Ancient’ also seemed gone, both women felt as if they were finally free and their future was filled with limitless possibilities.

That’s how Nelson and his family managed to steadily make their way into the ranks of Golden Constant and become powerful Legendary Rank experts, while slowly spreading their wings and controlling the Star Hackers into the Legendary Plains.

But Nelson was much faster than Ellie and Lucy, and became a rare genius seen once in a hundred thousand years within the Legendary Plains. It was like Nelson had awakened some kind of connate talent after becoming a Constant, and his progress skyrocketed.

Even Nelson noticed this, and he grew suspicious, as he had always suspected that the ’God’ didn’t just choose him for his mind but for something far more profound, yet he couldn’t discover it.

Nevertheless, Nelson’s life was once again peaceful, and, except for issuing commands and relying on God’s order to those Constant Barons, he was living with Lucy and Elia while researching alchemy on the Legendary Plains and the rich knowledge of the Timeless City, growing more powerful with each passing day.

But everything started to go awry two thousand years later when the Zodiac Beast suddenly descended into Legendary Plains, and chaos ensued.

However, even then, Nelson thought little of it and remained undoubtable as it had nothing to do with him, but things took a drastic turn when he finally noticed traces of ’Faceless Ancient’ in the Virtual Star Network through the Star Hackers’ technology when Jacob activated his star ID, and that left Nelson feeling trepidation.

But just like before, Jacob soon vanished, yet this was enough to cause chaos in Nelson and his family’s hearts because their mortal enemy seemed to be alive, and when they dived deeper into where Jacob had surfaced in the Virtual Star Network, it left them terror-stricken, for he seemed to have become Legendary King!

At that moment, Nelson was only at the Legendary Lord Rank, but Jacob had become a Legendary King, leaving all three of them feeling conflicted and with a sense of crisis that had finally vanished, only to return.

Since that day, Nelson has repeatedly searched for the Faceless Ancient to make sure they would never encounter each other, at least not in his current state.

During this time, Nelson also discovered an unusual star ID name, ’Dreamy Ancient’, and somehow felt it might be related to Faceless Ancient, so he decided to use the Constant Barons.

He wanted to capture her, just in case she was really related to the Faceless Ancient, as he thought it might be the weak link he was looking for, while he remained in absolute secrecy, leaving no trace behind.

Not only did it fail to leave Nelson completely mystified and foreboding, but soon after, his true nightmare began when the Timeless City was destroyed by an unknown entity!

On that day, thousands of Constants met their END, and Nelson learned the terrifying truth that even a Constant, which seemed almost unkillable and immortal, could die.

Nelson thought that he had been swindled by that God, but he couldn’t do anything about it, and on top of that, once the Timeless City suffered such a catastrophe, the God behind him seemed to have become restless, or probably all of those entities behind the ATLAS.

In the end, Nelson had no choice but to become an Acolyte of that God and take command of ATLAS’s entire operations within the Legendary Plains, not to mention that he was given no choice in this matter.

Although becoming an acolyte comes with many great advantages, the biggest disadvantage is that Nelson can never be free of this God’s influence, and he has become an eternal servant of God. Unless God falls, he could never escape.

However, Nelson knew he had brought this upon himself when he accepted help from an unknown entity with unknown goals, and after he became an acolyte, the tasks he had to perform were extremely dangerous.

Lastly, Nelson always feels that the destruction of the Timeless City was too coincidental; when he targeted someone presumably related to the Faceless Ancient, it ended up drawing calamity!
