"Fuck! How long does he intend to fight?! It’s been two weeks now!" Wu Wang cursed out loud as his patience started to run thin.

"At the rate he was winning matches, he should’ve reached the 100-match limit long ago," Shi Fa muttered out loud, looking confused. "Let’s wait a little longer. He’s probably taking a break."

However, even after an entire month, Yuan remained nowhere to be seen.

"That little fucker! Did he sneak out while we weren’t looking?!" Wu Wang exclaimed, aggressively tapping his foot on the ground.

"There’s no way. We haven’t left since we started waiting for him, so he’s definitely still inside. Don’t tell me that he waited an entire month inside for the monthly reset?" Shi Fa sighed out loud.

Although such cases were uncommon, it was not unheard of.

"Damn it... What now? It’s not like we have unlimited time here, either. Hell, we have to go back to base next month!" Wu Wang gritted his teeth.

"We can only hope for him to come out before we have to return to base... or we’d have to report the situation to our supervisors," Shi Fa shook his head.

While they could have gone to their supervisor immediately, the main reason they haven’t yet is that they want the credits to themselves.

"Wait. I have an idea."

Shi Fa said.

"What is it?"

"Wait right here. I will be right back."

Without elaborating, Shi Fa left the scene.

Meanwhile, Yuan continued to matchmake as soon as the monthly limit was reset.

However, instead of finishing each match within minutes, Yuan decided to take his time over the next hundred matches. After all, there was no reason to burn through all of his matches in a single day when he could prolong them while experimenting with and training his control over Limitless.

"Hm? Third Ascension?"

Yuan’s opponent raised his eyebrows in a surprised manner.

"You must be that monster from the rumors," he remarked, as if he recognized Yuan.

"What rumors?" Yuan asked with an intrigued expression.

"There’s been a certain rumor going around Gaia’s Sanctum over the past month. According to it, there is a Third Ascension cultivator who is not only ranked Expert but also possesses combat skills rivaling even those of a Gladiator," his opponent explained.

"Surely, that rumor must be referring to you."

"That’s definitely not me then," Yuan calmly replied, dumbfounding his opponent, who was certain that he would admit to it.

Before his opponent could respond, Yuan continued, "Although I am indeed at the Third Ascension, my combat experience far surpasses that of a mere Gladiator. Therefore, I am not the one being mentioned in the rumor."

"..."

His opponent stared at him in stunned silence, as though he had never encountered anyone so arrogant before.

Although he wanted to keep chatting, the match had begun.

"I will determine for myself whether your ability surpasses a Gladiator!"

"Unfortunately, you’re not qualified."

Instead of avoiding, Yuan began attacking from the very start for the first time. However, he made sure to control his strength.

Although his cultivation was far inferior to that of his Fifth Ascension opponent, Yuan had already proven that even his reserves of Limitless were enough to defeat them. This was largely because his opponents did not know how to protect themselves with Limitless, essentially fighting as though they were naked.

Of course, these people did not temper their bodies either. In other words, the people of this world possessed immense potential, yet they were wasting it due to their lack of experience.

At first glance, their cultivation and world appeared incredibly advanced, but the more Yuan learned about them, the more he realized how weak they truly were.

However, this didn’t mean Yuan looked down on them. After all, he knew that there were some capable people in this world, such as Wu Wang and Shi Fa.

Unfortunately, he was restricted from their world and secrets until he joined the military.

’H-How is he wielding so much Limitless without exhausting himself?! He has been expending Limitless since the beginning of the match, and more than half an hour has already passed!’ the Fifth Ascension cultivator cried inwardly as he barely dodged Yuan’s attacks.

’Not only that, but his attacks are incredibly deceiving! While they are small and appear weak at first glance, they are ridiculously destructive, possessing more power than anything someone at his cultivation level should be capable of!’

The Fifth Ascension cultivator had doubted the rumors from the very beginning, but he was now shocked to the core, as the truth turned out to be far more terrifying than the rumors, which had made Yuan seem like a mostly defensive fighter who spent the majority of his time evading attacks.

Eventually, after running out of Limitless and stamina, the Fifth Ascension cultivator fell to his knees.

He lifted his head to look at Yuan with a defeated look.

"You were right... I was not... qualified..." he muttered in a low voice before his vision blurred, and he was sent back to the waiting room.

’Limitless... What a unique energy,’ Yuan thought to himself as he stared at his palm.

Now that he was actually using Limitless, he could accurately compare it to the other energy.

"If I had to compare it with something similar, it would be Chaotic Essence... but for humans," he thought out loud.

While it was not as destructive as Chaotic Essence, which was the main reason why humans could not cultivate it, it was just as powerful.

Some time later, Yuan started another matchmaking.

Meanwhile, the Fifth Ascension cultivator left his waiting room and returned to the lobby after spending some time contemplating his match with Yuan. However, right as he returned to the lobby, two individuals stepped in front of him and blocked his path.

"G-Gladiator Wu and Gladiator Shi!"

The Fifth Ascension cultivator’s eyes widened with shock as he immediately recognized the two standing before him.
