"Strange?! I was told a different version of the story." Adrian stated as he remembered that the Goddess of Wisdom Athena told them about the epochs and how mana came to be when he was in the body of Telos. He then recollected the version that he was told by the gods which made Aurgelmir laugh.

"It seems that was a version spun by the gods in order to make it look like they were born first when it was clearly the Asmodians being the case. There really is no glory on who was born first because that is not something to be proud about. Time is merely a construct that was created to measure the flow of age or how long a being can last.

As you know, Asmodians do not have to worry about time at all because we are beings outside of it. Of couse, the descendants that do not have much Asmodian blood purity in them have become closer to mortals in life span as some could die of old age but only the Daemos are of the privilege of not growing old." Aurgelmir stated as he is basically pointing out that the origins of the Asmodian Daemos are too special that it also affected their Daemos descendants.

"Anyways, if you want to learn more about the history of your kind then you better talk to that farmer. He knows more than he lets on as he has survived the longest amongst your kind at the present. Now, do you wish to know about the Jotunn and how I spawned them when I was just Ymir." Aurgelmir stated and Adrian is clearly enamored by the story which is why he continued.

When he was born as Ymir, the energy in his body was countless as the stars from the body of the creator held incredible power. The power was so great that Ymir had to create beings like himself in order to alleviate the immense energy in his body. Ymir called this event as the Great Liberation as his body got liberated from such destructive and immense energy that could have killed him if held on for too long.

From the energy that Ymir released came the other Asmodian Jotunn and other smaller beings that came from the excess energy from the release of the Jotunn. From the actual energy release, Jotunns were born that carried different elements in their body as if to signify that they truly are born from the energy of stars that contain all the elements.

The first six Asmodian Jotunn were born with a body made of fire, water, wind, rock, light, and darkness. Each of them possesses the immense energy of the elements and could freely wield and control them. Meanwhile Ymir has all the elements but he also has the power of coldness and ice which can literally freeze any of the elements.

The birth of the othe Asmodian Jotunn also came with the birth of the cosmic entities that personified the sky which is the divine being known as Ouranos who later became the husband of the Goddess of Life Gaea. Aurgelmir was about to talk more about Ouranos but he just looked sad before moving on because there were other beings born from the excess energy he released.

The ones born next from excess energy were the giants but some of them also unique abilities like that of the Jotunn. Some were born with the elements like the Flame Giant Surtr while some were born looking like oversized humans. These were later known as the First Giants are they are bigger compared to what the world of the present knows as giants.

Nevertheless, the biggest beings in the world were born from Ymir as his true form is colossal. In fact, his dead body could still be visited as it is now the world of eternal frost called Niflheim. Adrian even went there once because of an accident but he safely returned.

Aurgelmir then went back to the story how the six other Asmodian Jotunn along with him have created and used their combined powers to create the creation relic called the Starforged Elementum. A creation relic that also has the power of Ymir as he created the frosted sun being encircled by six different planets made of different elements. With the combined power of all of them, they were able to make life emerge which are then the Jotunns that only carried some of the Asmodian blood in their body.

Out of all the Asmodians, the Asmodian Jotunn are the less in terms of number because they do not care much for love and emotions. They believed themselves as beings of stars and they should only be admired from afar but there are outliers that found solace in the company of others. Still, most of the Asmodian Jotunn only want to be left alone as if they got that personality from their first ancestor who is Ymir.

Aurgelmir then told him that he should have been more hands on with his children because they could not unite at the end. His cold attitude back then made them unable to work together and can only rely on themselves to protect. In the end, all of them sacrificed themselves to split up the powers of the Starforged Elementum when they were losing to other divine beings.

The Asmodian Jotunn along with Ymir’s guidance split the Starforged Elementum into seven different pieces. Each of the piece contained the pure element within them and the last is the essence of Ymir himself. The other divine beings coveted the Starforged Elementum because of its hidden ability to have complete control over the elements.

"So, if it broke into seven pieces, I just need to find those scattered seven pieces. Do you have something like a tracking device for them?" Adrian stated as he completely glossed over the story and proceeded with what he needed which shocked Aurgelmir.

"No snide comment or something? You usually like to point out the mistakes of the past especially since you know that I have laid it bare." Aurgelmir stated.

"Do you really want my honest opinion? Or you just want me to say something so that you can act angry to alleviate the guilt that you are feeling right now?" Adrian’s word carried a deep sting into the ears and heart of Aurgelmir because he nailed it.

Aurgelmir wanted some reaction from Adrian so that he can just say words that he does not mean in an angry tone in order to lessen the burden of the guilt he carries. He is not saying it but he knows that he was partly the reason why his race or rather his children have all died. All of his children have died and only he was the one left.

Aurgelmir always believed that he cannot be redeemed because what kind of parent could he be as he sacrificed his own children. It is also one of the reasons why he is touchy on the subject of children even though the Ice Queen Elona wants them. In fact, the Ice Queen Elona once came to Avalon for a treaty visit. She was actually just stressed by the fact that Aurgelmir seem to still hide things from her despite her deep affection. In fact, she froze an entire bar that day as she was heavily drunk and rambling things that should have been kept between them.

"I do not know the pain you carry or even say that I have experienced something like that but my mother always told me that the most natural course of life is always to move on. If you are stuck in the past then you shall also be forgotten in the past as well. If guilt is the reason, you are not moving forward then you need to think about them while slowly moving on.

It does not matter if you crawl first but it is important to move on. If they were to actually see you stuck in the mire, do you think that they will be happy? They made the sacrifice out of love and I think you know that. You know that they loved you in their own ways which is why you are frozen in time.

It must also be the reason why you chose to stay in a frigid area to remind you of the cold past but there might be still warmth in you. If you really had no intention of moving on then you would not have used the furnace to build things or found the warmest fire in the coldest place in the world. If you did not have any intention of moving on then you would have pushed the Ice Queen Elona away.

I think all of them know that you are currently crawling towards a future but I think it is now time for you to walk. So that you can greet them with the warmest of smiles when you meet again." Adrian stated which made the entire area quiet as Aurgelmir started to contemplate.
