HUMMMMMM!

A silent ringing sound echoed throughout the world and the source was at the Forbidden Ocean. All beings in the world felt this ringing but the ones that knew of this subtle but great change are the divine beings. This was not a simple shockwave but a declaration from one of the most powerful divine beings that is in the mortal realm.

[The Titan of the Ocean, Oceanus, has decided to seal his realm for a year.]

[The Laws of the Ocean that the Titan of the Ocean is still in effect and should never be broken or fear the wrath of the ocean.]

The silent terror of the deep oceans had suddenly decided to close himself off but would still have the rules of his domain be reinforced. This meant that the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus is telling all of the divine beings in the world that he does not care of the petty squabbles or major fights that is happening in the world as long as no one bothers him in his domain.

The Titan of the Ocean Oceanus is also the reason why no one could easily offend the creatures of the oceans because they are all under his protection. It does not mean that the ocean creatures can just do whatever they want without consequence as the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus is known for being impartial. If the cause is justified then he would even give way to eradicate an entire ocean clan.

The Titan of the Ocean Oceanus is also the reason why the ocean creatures would never dare to set foot in land because they would lose his protection once they do so. The Ocean creatures would instantly lose the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus’ blessing as soon as they step foot in land hence, they always tend to their waters. The Titan of the Ocean Oceanus is also the reason why no kingdom or continent would dare covet the oceans as he has shown what he can do.

In the distant past, a kingdom on the border of a vast ocean coveted the treasure of a mermaid clan as it can produce pearls. That very kingdom kidnapped the treasured prince of the mermaid clan in exchange for that treasured item. In the end, the mermaid clan beseeched the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus as this situation breaks the silent agreement between land and water.

The kingdom was swallowed by a large tidal wave that was ten times bigger than their highest ground and is swallowed by the ocean. No mortal has survived such divine retribution and all of the kingdoms of the land always passed the knowledge to never covet the ocean. They can trade with the ocean creatures but they must never cheat or oppress them for their divine ruler will wipe their country off the map.

"To think we would convene again in such a short span of time. This is cutting on my time for my beauty rest." The Goddess of Love and Beauty Aphrodite stated as she sounded irritated as she seemed to have been sleeping.

"You will be forever beautiful, sister. Why would you even need to sleep in the first place when you are not the Goddess of Sleep? We have far more important things that need to be done because the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus has basically declared his innocence to us. He has once again shut himself in his own domain and shall not partake on what is happening." The Goddess of Wisdom Athena stated.

"How sure are you that the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus is knowledgeable of what is happening on land, sister?" The God of War Ares asked.

"I believe that our uncle would be the best one to answer that as he has sent an envoy to the realm of the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus." The Goddess of Wisdom Athena stated as she looked at the God of the Seas Poseidon.

"My envoy has returned from his domain and the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus has declared that he was not involved in what happened on Olympus. He even told my envoy that he shall close his domain for a year and will not meddle on what is happening as he wants to keep his peace. Of course, the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus did say that he will make a move if another being disturbs his oceans." The God of the Seas Poseidon stated.

"So, he is basically saying that he will join the side that antagonizes him but he will remain neutral as long as he is not bothered. As expected of that crafty fellow, he has been like this ever since the start of the Titanomachy." The God King Zeus stated he expressed his slight displeasure.

The God King Zeus remained seated as he knew that antagonizing the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus is not something he can afford. In fact, if the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus actually sided with the Titan King Kronos back then the Olympian Gods would have lost the war. They would have been the ones that should have been killed or imprisoned in Tartarus instead.

The Titan of the Ocean Oceanus is a powerful being that is the oceans himself. He is the very personification of this natural force and he even receded his control of the seas to the Olympians as a sign of good will. If the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus really wanted to then he could regain all control of the waters in the world if he so wished but he never did so in respect to the pact that he has with the Olympian Gods.

"Then did we actually overthink that the Titans were the ones that planned the attack on Olympus? Was it really the Apostles of Typhon that launched the attack with the monsters? We had the champions check the Ruins of Etna and only minor damage has been seen on the actual altar at the end. The Primordial Calamity Typhon would not have enough power to raise such a monster horde." The Goddess of the Hunt Artemis stated which suddenly made everything complicated for the Olympian Gods.

One side believes that it was the Apostles of Typhon that led the attack because they sensed the energy of Typhon from some of the monsters. Even the ones that escaped had some of the energy of the Primordial Calamity Typhon. They believed that the Primordial Calamity Typhon had broke at least one seal and has started to influence the world but no seal was broken when their champions checked.

The first seal has some cracks and has slightly weakened but the champions reported that the miasma was not leaking in large quantities. The Olympian Gods even checked their champions if they had been tricked or had a mental illusion cast upon them but there was not. Their champions were not affected by miasma at all which means the Primordial Calamity Typhon did nothing to them except closing the dungeon on them which the beast can do even back then.

Since the Primordial Calamity Typhon was not breaking from his seal, the Olympian Gods judged that it must have been the Titans that are moving. The Titans must have utilized some remnant followers of the Primordial Calamity Typhon by promising them to free their master but they had no lead that the Titans are active.

The Olympian Gods even called upon the Titans that sided with them in the Titanomachy and interrogated them if the Titan King has called upon them. The Titans that sided with them said that the Titan King has never whispered to them ever since he got imprisoned in Tartarus. The Olympian Gods then thought of the Titan of the Ocean Oceanus as he is the only one that they cannot observe or control but even he sealed his domain in order to prove his innocence.

"It does not make sense for monsters that do not even live in one ecosystem to group up and attack Olympus. We may have oppressed them for a long time since they feast on the mortals but we only culled those that killed our believers. We did not even erase their entire race despite their danger because they can also be tests for our champions." The God Queen Hera stated.

"I believe that some force or group is using a smokescreen. It could also be the result of numerous groups with no correlation moving together." The Goddess of Wisdom Athena stated.

"Are you saying that all of them are moving individually but their results just overlap with each other which is why we are now in this strange stalemate?" The God of War Ares stated.

"Yes, brother. As irrational as that sounds, it is the most logical situation that can explain what is happening now." The Goddess of Wisdom Athena stated.

"Maybe we can ask the Fates." The God of Wine Dionysus stated.

"You do know that we cannot ask for their help since they had already given their aid in the Titanomachy." The Goddess of Wisdom Athena stated.
