A Tier Six Peak being was only one final step away from the legendary Deities.

For the colossal creature before him to be revered as a Subordinate Zerg God, it must have already progressed far along that final step. Ascension to Divinity at Tier Seven was likely within its grasp.

Fortunately, however, Lin Feng didn’t sense any spiritual fluctuations of a Mental Realm from it.

Unlike Shen Jie’s mandatory trial, this was more like a fleeting tour of a virtual world.

It was just like when he first witnessed the history of the Zerg Race’s origins—he was merely an observer.

The colossal beast halted its flight and raised its head. On its four-to-five-kilometer-wide head, a familiar, enormous eyeball slowly opened, emerging from a forehead as rugged as a cratered mountain ridge.

This giant eye, burning like a raging fire, was the very same one he had seen when he looked back over the Abyss from within the collapsing Slaughter Realm.

’If I’m not mistaken, the Subordinate Zerg God before me is the deity born from Ceres.’

’The very being I theorized was at the core of the planet Ceres.’

’If Tier Three King Spine Zergs live in volcanic craters, then Tier Four cosmic Spine Zergs must be able to delve deep beneath the crust, entering the Mantle Layer filled with molten iron to absorb the purer, high-energy matter there.’

’Following that logic, at the core of the planet Ceres—where the pressure reaches millions of atmospheres and the temperature nears six or seven thousand degrees—there must be a High Tier Spine Zerg of indescribable power.’

’Calling it the Spine God would be more fitting.’

And now, this Zerg deity, the Spine God, had actually appeared before him. It was only an incorporeal body of Energy, condensed by the Source of Realm across tens of millions of years...

But Its nobility and power were on full display before Lin Feng.

Lin Feng swallowed, forcing himself to remain calm. He had to keep reminding himself that what was before him was just a phantom, an illusion—not real.

The stalemate held for a long time. It was only broken when the colossal creature before him let out a low hum, sending ripples of vibration through the surrounding cosmic space.

Ripples suffused with Realm Energy emanated from Its mouth. As they washed over Lin Feng, the Spine God’s voice echoed in his mind:

"You are the chosen one, selected by the Zerg Emperor..."

Lin Feng’s brow furrowed slightly.

’This title, Zerg Emperor... could it be referring to the Mother of Life that Ling Yi spoke of?’

’It seems Ling Yi hid quite a lot from me back when the Hive Will descended.’

When Lin Feng didn’t answer, the Spine God continued:

"The Energy in this place cannot be sustained for much longer. Young man, you have two choices..."

"You may either obtain one of the Spine King’s three great Mental Realms or ask three questions."

"The Mental Realms are Unyielding, Slaughter, and Fearless. The questions can only be about yourself, the Zerg Race, and everything in the past!"

Lin Feng was visibly shaken, but he quickly processed the Spine God’s proclamation. After a moment of thought, he chose the second option:

"I want to know where you of the Zerg Race come from and why you invaded Blue Star. I want to know everything behind it!"

The Spine God’s pupils, as vast as mountain ranges, burned with even more intense fire. As its head vibrated, the answers to his questions surfaced in Lin Feng’s mind:

"We come from the distant Gemini Nebula. By your human definition, they are the two companion galaxies of the Milky Way Galaxy—two quasi-galaxies known as the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds."

"Tragically, however, our home was being invaded by the Large Magellanic Cloud. To mount a desperate final struggle, a divine war erupted within the Divine Hall, and the Zerg Emperor ultimately emerged victorious."

"I, too, fell at that time. The entire Ascension to Divinity sequence of the Spine Zerg lineage was absorbed into the Zerg Emperor’s body, helping it ascend to the Realm of the Eternal Divine King."

"You already know what happened next. An exiled Black Heaven God King unexpectedly descended upon the Zerg home world. The Zerg God, knowing it was no match for him, chose to offer its own divine body as fuel for his return journey."

"Then, the remaining Zerg who chose to submit were transported to the Milky Way Galaxy through a Wormhole to set up a Beacon for his return."

"The Solar System, where Blue Star is located, is the final destination of our mission. Once the Beacon is constructed, the Black Heaven God King will descend upon the Galaxy."

"And he will ignite another war, one that will engulf all life in the Galaxy!"

Lin Feng was stunned into silence for a long moment after hearing the Spine God’s account.

Honestly, he had never imagined that the Zerg Race’s invasion of Blue Star was part of such a deep and intricate plot.

Whether it was the Large Magellanic Cloud’s invasion and annexation of the Small Magellanic Cloud, or the descent of the Black Heaven God King with the intent to provoke a war that would sweep across the entire Milky Way Galaxy...
