Following the familiar sensation of space being rearranged, we finally arrived at our destination.

The first thing that hit me was the noise...

"HEY!! Watch where you’re going..."

"Fucking bastard. What are you doing appearing in the middle of the street?"

"Barbaric outsider. I shall have your head..." the last one was followed by a blade strike that came swiftly for my head.

BANG! A lazy fist connected with the attacker before I could even begin to identify the person.

SPLAT! A rain of blood and organs successfully silenced the noise around me as I finally got the chance to take in my surroundings..

"I gotta say... not what I expected." I muttered as I looked around.

The place looked like any city square one would find on terra. Of course that was barring the churning cloud of decay and madness thundering above the city.

A semi-translucent dome was the only thing keeping the madness out.

activated instinctively as I took a deeper look at the dome.

"Hmmm.. would you look at that..." the whole structure of the dome was unraveled as I saw just what it was that was going on.

"To think you could use laws like that..." the dome was simply a channeled form of the essence of entropy. It worked by operating on the same frequency as the constant madness outside the city.

What that meant was, it used the expression "like poles repel."

By making the dome channel entropy in the same frequency as the outside world, the two environments clashed and kept each other at bay...

[Ding!]

[Your understanding of the [SUPREME LAW] has deepened....]

"Heh... cool." I smirked. Finally returning my attention to the stunned crowd around me.

"Hmm?" I raised a curious brow.

"Hey... alien woman. Why are they looking at me like that?" I couldn’t help asking.

"First of all, benefactor. My name is Lysera. And they’re looking at us like this because I believe you just attacked a city guard." She spoke up grimly.

"Hmmm? But the fucker attacked first."

"Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter. The natives here don’t take too kindly to outsiders attacking their own within their city. Wait. I’ll call my sister...."

Before she could complete her words...

"There they are. Seize them.." a squad of ash-skinned armor wearing guards appeared before us. Their murderous intent locked onto us as they charged without so much as a warning..

BANG!!!

I slapped out.

The air detonated.

SPLAT! SPLAT! SPLAT....

Unable to offer any substantial resistance, the guards exploded into blood mist.

The crowd fell into a stunned silence before...

"Madman!!! A mad outsider has appeared.. call the guards.. call the guards.." a cacophony of noises erupted.

The entire square became chaotic as everyone suddenly turned hostile.

"Seize them!!! Don’t let them escape.."

"Outsiders dare harm one of ours.."

"Kill them..."

I had suddenly become the center of public outrage, and It hadn’t even been 5 minutes since my arrival..

"This is bad... this is very bad.." the alien woman retreated in the face of the angry mob.

"Sister says she’s on her way but I don’t think she’ll make it fast enough..."

The general strength of the abyss walkers around us wasn’t that powerful.

The strongest aura in the crowd barely reached the Late Stage of the Transformation Realm.

Nothing worth worrying about.. But I could understand her worry. These were natives. We were on their own playing field. The advantage was undeniably there’s.

"Get them...."

The crowd surged. Intent on mobbing us..

"Heh." My lips rose in a cruel curve.

"Burn."

Tsk.. tsk...

FWOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

A raging inferno immediately sparked with me as the center.

The dark-golden flames engulfing the raging mob instantly.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!—-

Blood curdling shrieks erupted from within the inferno, only to be snuffed out instantly.

The raging flames died down as fast as they started. But now. There was no longer an angry mob.

The entire street had been cleared clean with not even ashes staining the pavements.

Slam!

Slam! Slam!.

Continuous slams sounded all around us as residents immediately shut their doors and windows in absolute fright.

"Heh. Light work." So what if we were on enemy territory? So what if we were outnumbered a million to one?

They should be glad I wasn’t razing the entire city to the ground for their insolence.

Daring to capture me?

"Merely courting death."

My focus shifted to my traveling partner.

She stood transfixed. Eyes shrunken in absolute awe.

"Heh. This is what I was telling you about earlier. Enough power to do whatever you want. However you want. Whenever you want. Wherever you want. With absolutely no one being able to tell you different."

Her eyes burned.

No.

Not with grief.

Not with despair.

With hunger.

The same hunger that had driven me to claw my way to where I stood today.

...

A sudden feelin of satisfaction welled up from within me.

Good.

She was finally beginning to understand.

"Now then. Where do we...."

Step. Step. Step. Step.

The sounds of hasty footsteps came from behind me as I looked over my shoulder.

"Big..." I cursed my perverted mind the moment I had that thought.

"Lysera!!!" A sharp feminine voice finally snapped me out of it.

"Damn my fucking disease." I cursed mentally.

"Sister?" The alien woman finally came to her senses as she rushed past me.

"Lysera! Oh my Draxis... I thought I’d lost you." The approaching figure hugged my alien companion tightly. Tears of relief flowing freely from her eyes.

"Big sis... Lysera is so sorry..." apparently, my companion was only acting tough earlier as her composure crumbled the moment she fell into her sister’s embrace.

Her form of talking In the third person returning in full force.

"Don’t worry.. everything will be fine.. big sis is here. Nothing will hurt you again." The newly arrived woman hugged her even tighter.

I suddenly felt out of place, so I kept quiet and let the sisters have their moment.

As the two sisters remained locked in their embrace, I finally took the opportunity to properly look at the elder one.

...

Beautiful.

No.

That almost felt insulting.

Her ocean blue skin carried a soft, crystalline sheen beneath the Abyss’s dim light. Waist long white hair cascaded like liquid moonlight, framing a face sculpted with impossible precision. The relief flooding her expression as she held her little sister close softened features that would otherwise have appeared untouchably regal.

Even the tear tracks upon her cheeks only made her seem more breathtaking.

My gaze drifted lower.

A figure that seemed crafted solely to mock proportion itself.

An impossibly slender waist.

Wide, elegant hips.

And breasts so absurdly generous they should have defied reason, yet somehow looked perfectly natural on her tall frame. Even while embracing Lysera, they barely yielded, their shape refusing to lose an ounce of dignity.

...

Damn...

Now that was a woman.

My eyes burned a brilliant gold.

SHING.

A razor thin sound whispered beside my neck.

Cold steel rested against my throat.

"So."

A man’s voice.

Low.

Controlled.

Carrying an irritation that had clearly been simmering for far longer than this encounter.

"Have you seen enough?"

I slowly shifted my eyes away from the woman.

Standing beside me was a tall man dressed in dark armour, one hand extended, the tip of his sword resting lightly against my neck.

His gaze wasn’t on my weapon.

Nor my face.

It lingered on the direction I’d been looking.

Jealous.

Possessive.

Almost... resentful.

My expression flattened.

"One second."

My voice came out frighteningly calm.

"That’s how long you have."

Our eyes met.

"Remove that blade from my neck."

Gold slowly flooded my eyes.

"...before I remove the arm holding it."
