"Hmm? Racial talent?" Now that’s a first. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an entry before, but, It felt like it’d been forever since I heard such notifications.

So..

I waited and waited for more but..

"Hmm? That’s it?" I raised a curious brow as the body completely disappeared.

"Alright then.. let’s see what we got." I started with the most obvious thing..

No ranks. No nothing. If one didn’t know any better, they would think the talents were as powerful as my chaos abilities, but I could feel it.

They were already capped at what they could do.

At most, they were similar to SUPREME grade talents. Useful, but not a big deal.

As for why they didn’t have any ranks attached to them? I could only surmise that to be due to the fact that they’re something tied to the race itself.

But, since I had no idea what this new entry truly was, I moved on.

I skimmed through my status screen.

It had been quite some time since I last checked this, and it was quite packed now.

I ignored the extra stuff, as my eyes locked onto my attributes first.

The glaring "-" confirmed what I already felt.

"So it indeed is like this.." my strength, agility, and endurance stats had become void.

Hell, even the HP on my status had been removed completely.

And it was all because of...

"Hooo...." I let out a soft breath as I steadied myself.

I didn’t yet understand fully what it meant to wield such a concept, but I was going to figure it out eventually.

Now... my eyes finally landed on two more black sheeps..

"When did I get this?" I couldn’t help being stunned. I had no recollection of ever receiving a notification for these two concepts. And by the look of things, they’ve been here a while..

"Damn..." that second one.. END. Wasn’t that what dad had glimpsed into before? How the hell did I suddenly have it now? And I couldn’t even feel any difference?

"Haaa..." I sighed..

I shook my head not willing to allow frustration settle in, I pushed the two concepts aside. For now, they were of no consequence. And I had bigger things to worry about that wondering how two strange concepts had suddenly appeared on my status page, and one of them was....

"How do I leave this fucking wasteland..." I looked around. All I could see was carnage and destruction. Overturned earth that didn’t remember how to be earth anymore.

After going through multiple sessions of bearing the abuse from multiple confrontations, the land here has been permanently altered.

"Fuck..." and in my eager stupidity, I had devoured the one guy that could have had a map or clues on him without checking for anything...

"Haaa... guess I can only do it the hard way..." saying so, my wings sprouted.

Again. No. They weren’t necessary.

But fuck anyone that thought I would leave such cool things unused.

"Tasteless fuckers. Heh!" Thoughts settled, I spread them out and then..

FLAP!!

With one thunderous flap, I vanished into the distance, the movement so controlled there was no explosion whatsoever left behind.

"Okay... fuck this. Just how much further do I need to fly?" I couldn’t help grumbling as all I could see around me was carnage and devastation.

I had flown for what felt like forever. I was sure I had already covered enough ground to circle the entire southern continent twice by now, yet all I could see was destruction and a world marred for life.

"Damn.. there’s no way my attacks did all this.." the situation felt surreal. Who knew the aftermaths of my battles spread this far?

If it wasn’t for the fact that the atmosphere was actively guiding me. Yes. Even this fucked up atmosphere loved me. But that’s besides the point.

Point is. If it weren’t for that, I would’ve been sure I was only flying in a circle because this level of damage felt too extensive for some simple punches.

"And if only punches could cause such destruction... just what could those laws really do when I use them? What would Heaven rend, Final Moment, and the others look like?" I was suddenly eager to find out.

BOOOOMMMM!!!!

A sudden explosion from west caught my attention.

"Finally..." I sighed in relief as I adjusted my direction, and then..

BOOOMMM!!!

The earth exploded as a massive fist connected with the ground.

"Young lady!! Run!! We’ll keep this thing occupied!!" A group of blue skinned individuals could be seen fighting what appeared to be a hulking four-armed brute with charcoal-black hide resembling cooled volcanic rock. Molten orange cracks pulse beneath its skin, while a broad horned head sits atop an impossibly thick neck. Every arm ends in massive stone-like claws capable of pulverizing mountains.

ROOOOOOOARRRRRRR!!!

The monster gave a thunderous roar as it clenched its upper limps.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!

The earth erupted into debris and rubble as the creature’s fist made contact.

The group was blasted into different directions as the monster gave chase.

It moved way too fast for something of that build.

"GORONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!" One of the blue skinned people roared in fright as the monster appeared behind one of the disoriented blue skinned people.

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.....

Letting out a horrifying roar. The creature’s fist connected cleanly and then..

SPLAT!!!

Blasted the blue skinned alien into a bloody mist.

"GORONNNNNNNN!!!!" A feminine cry of pain sounded from the armored female being protected by the others.

"Young lady! Run! Now!"

"No! Caada. I won’t leave you guys here to die." The woman shook her head stubbornly. She raised her arm as a blue sphere of light consensed within it.

"Vile creature!! Die!!!!!"

WWOOOMMM!!!

The sphere of light tore through the air as it flew straight towards the massive creature.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

The earth rocked and shook as a cloud of dust rose from t he point of collision.

"Did you...."

SWOOOOSHHHHH!!!!

"YOUNG LADY!!! ..."

A massive shadow appeared right behind the blue skinned woman who still had her arms raised.

The air screamed as a fist the size of a building descended from the sky.

"Eh..."

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

A fissure ran for kilometers on end as the monster’s fist made contact with the earth.

"NO! NO! CAADA!!!!!!!!!!" Picking herself up from the ground after having been shoved aside, the blue skinned woman yelled in utter despair as she caught sight of the aftermath of the monster’s attack.

All that remained was a patch of blue blood staining the bottom of a deep crater.

"My lady... Please run...." Her other retainers appeared before her.

One man, one woman, as they put forth a desperate last stand.

"No... Mireya... Akasha.. you guys.." her tears came unbidden as her face twisted into pure agony..

Grrrr...

The monster turned its face towards the group of three.

A predatory smile appearing on its ugly face as its massive tongue licked its lips in sadistic glee.

"My lady.. if you don’t leave now. The other’s sacrifice would’ve been in vain." Their voices came out muffled through the protective armors they were wearing.

The cracks marring them allowing for the deadly atmosphere of the abyss to seep through, further worsening their condition.

"I can’t.. I..."

"You have to. My lady. You have to..."

"Akasha..."

Sweeeeeeeeeee!!!!

It seemed the monster was done listening to their farewells as it moved. Its gigantic frame casting a shadow over the entire group as a large fist descended upon them.

The faces of the two turned solemn as they pushed the young woman far away..

"Survive young lady!!! And avenge us when you get powerful enough!!!!"

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

Their words were cut unceremoniously short as the monster’s fist struck with cataclysmic impact.

The earth shattering on impact as a devastating shockwave spread outwards.

"AKASHA!!!!!!!!!!" The young woman yelled in pain and despair as the shockwave struck..

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Her figure was sent flying into the distance before..

Bang!!!

It crashed into the surface of a mountain, causing rocks to tumble down.

"Kuh... Kuh.. Blerghhh...." Tearing herself out of the mountain face, she came crashing down.

Agony coursed through every inch of her body, yet it paled beside the grief clawing at her chest. Watching those who had raised her die before her eyes hurt far more than any wound ever could.

Hic... Hic...

"Caada... hic.. Goron... hic.."

Her tears flowed freely as she recalled the faces and voices of the people she had come to see as family.

People that had been taken from her just like that.

"Hic... Akasha... I’m sorry... I’m sorry... I’m sorry..." she broke down into tears as she buried her face into the bloodied earth.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The thundering footsteps of something large approaching reached her ears as she struggled to raise her head.

"Heh! It seems I’m truly destined to die here today arent I?" She gave a hopeless smile as she met the grinning face of the massive creature.

"Just get it over with... let my pain end.." her eyes closed as the monster’s arm rose...

WOOOOOOSSSHHHHH!!!!

The air split as the creature released a devastating blow..

Her closed eyes tightened as she waited for the inevitable..

The expected pain never came.

Only silence.

"Huh..." She muttered in confusion as the strike she was expecting never arrived..

"Did I die so fast I didn’t even feel it?" Bewildered by the situation, her closed eyes slowly pried themselves open.

"Wha...?" Only for her to freeze at the sight that greeted her.

Right there. Back turned. Standing in front of her. Was a man with short white hair. Dressed in a simple T-shirt and flowing black silk pants, his posture radiated effortless calm.

But that wasn’t what shook her..

"How..." her eyes widened as she realized she wasn’t imagining things..

"How did..." the man before her... he had just held the monster’s massive fist with a single arm and not a sign of exertion could be felt from him.

Her thoughts slowed, and then..

"Now, big guy... that’s not anyway to treat a pretty lady, now is it?" The man’s playful voice reached her ears, before...

"How about I give you a taste of your own medicine?" His fingers slowly curled into a fist.

ROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRRR.....

The monster roared in fury as it raised its three other arms but...

"Tsk tsk tsk... let me show you how..." the man’s voice held an edge of amusement in it as he pulled his arm back..

".... How to throw a punch."

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!

The monster. The mountains behind it. The land stretching beyond the horizon. For an immeasurable distance... everything simply...

Vanished.

".... Huh?"
