Chapter 515: Chapter 515 – Too late

Damon’s words echoed into the room like a bolt of lightning out of a clear sky.

"She’s pregnant."

Silence swallowed the entire hall so completely that even the air seemed to stop moving. Daisy froze where she sat, and Ravyn looked just as stunned, his bloodshot eyes locked on Damon as suspicion twisted his features into something ugly and raw.

"How the hell did you know that?" His voice dropped to a dangerously low growl. "Have you been fucking her too?"

The accusation sent a wave of shocked murmurs rolling through the packed hall. After everything he’d uncovered tonight, Ravyn no longer trusted a single soul around him.

The woman he had treasured for years because she gave birth to Bryan had turned out to be nothing but one carefully constructed lie stacked on top of another.

At this point, betrayal felt like it was hiding behind every familiar face he used to rely on.

Damon’s jaw tightened hard enough that the muscle jumped. Whatever patience he’d been holding onto finally snapped.

"Excuse me?" His sharp gaze locked onto Ravyn’s without the slightest hint of fear. "Don’t you ever mistake my respect for weakness. If I wanted a woman, I’d have more options than I know what to do with."

His eyes flicked briefly over Daisy with disgust before returning to Ravyn. "Honestly, there’s not a single thing about Daisy that attracts me. I’ve always wondered what you ever saw in her in the first place."

The words landed like knives, and several people in the crowd immediately lowered their heads, afraid to watch whatever reaction was about to explode out of Ravyn. His fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white.

Every instinct in him screamed to lash out and remind Damon exactly who he was dealing with, but reality held him back.

His company had survived more than one rough stretch only because Damon had extended a helping hand when no one else would.

Damon wasn’t some ordinary Beta you could push around without consequences. After Corvine resigned and how difficult it was to get a replacement, Ravyn knew better.

He forced himself to take a slow, steadying breath, letting the earlier accusation drop.

"Forget what I said." His voice stayed rough and strained. "Just tell me the truth. How did you know she was pregnant?"

Damon answered without hesitation, his expression calm and steady. "Yesterday. Before the full moon. Did you already forget picking up Daisy at the hospital yourself?"

Ravyn frowned as the memory clicked into place. Of course, he remembered. Daisy informed him that Damon took her to the hospital, and he had personally picked her up after.

"I remember." His gaze drifted toward Daisy again, bitterness dripping from every word. "But who the hell knows who the father even is at this point?"

The pure hatred burning in his eyes made Daisy shrink into herself until she could barely hold her posture. She couldn’t bring herself to look at him anymore.

The man who used to spoil her with expensive gifts, who carried her the moment her feet started to hurt, who never once raised his voice at her, was gone.

The Alpha standing in front of her now looked at her like she disgusted him down to his core. She was still dressed in luxurious clothes with jewelry glittering around her neck, yet she’d never felt more pitiful in her entire life.

Even a starving rat in the alley seemed to have more dignity left than she did.

Ravyn took a slow step closer, his voice echoing across the hall with cold authority. "How many? How many men, Daisy?"

Before she could force out a single word, Seraphine’s calm voice cut through the tension.

"Ravyn." Every eye in the room turned toward her. "Zane already has the answers you’re looking for. But before we get there, I have a few questions of my own for Daisy." She crossed one leg over the other with effortless elegance, looking every bit the queen she truly was. "She’s still your wife, so you can—"

"She’s not my wife!" Ravyn’s furious roar shook the hall as his chest rose and fell with barely controlled rage. "I don’t acknowledge her anymore!"

Seraphine didn’t flinch. She simply raised one graceful eyebrow and let a faint smile stretch her lips.

"Too late. Whether you like it or not, she’s still the Luna of this pack."

Ravyn’s mouth opened again, ready to spit another insult, but Seraphine smoothly cut him off before the words could leave his lips.

"Daisy." Her expression turned serious. "There’s something I’ve wanted to ask you for a while now."

Daisy slowly lifted her tear-filled eyes, and Seraphine held her gaze without blinking. "I understand why you drugged me during the last full moon. But why did you drug Ravyn too?"

The question stunned everyone in the room, especially Ravyn. His entire body stiffened as fragments of that night flashed through his mind. His thoughts had been unusually foggy.

He remembered losing control far too easily. At the time he’d blamed Seraphine and convinced himself she had seduced him on purpose. Now a horrifying realization crept in, and he slowly turned toward Daisy.

"You drugged me?" His voice barely rose above a shattered whisper.

"No!" Daisy cried out immediately, her head shaking frantically as fresh tears streamed down her face. "I didn’t drug you! I swear I didn’t!"

Before Seraphine could respond, another woman rose from her seat. Tallulah had been sitting quietly beside Jasmine, Emery, and Nicole the entire time. Now she stepped forward, her eyes locked onto Daisy with quiet intensity.

"Luna Daisy. Do you remember me?"

The moment Daisy saw her, every ounce of color drained from her face. Her heart pounded so hard it felt like it might crack her ribs. She squeezed her eyes shut and silently begged for this to be a nightmare she could wake up from.

Before she could force out any kind of response, another voice suddenly rang out from the crowd.

"Alpha Ravyn!"

Everyone turned as one of the visiting Alphas rose from his chair, his expression burning with indignation.

"What you’re doing isn’t fair. You made her your Luna, and now you’re humiliating her in front of everyone because of your ex-wife, the same ex-wife who’s now married to nothing more than a human."

The temperature inside the hall seemed to drop several degrees. Voren’s eyes darkened instantly, a dangerous smile spreading across his face as his voice echoed inside Seraphine’s mind.

’He’s mine.’

She swallowed hard and answered just as quickly. ’He also slept with Daisy. Everything is on the video Zane has. I’m saving that footage for the very end. There’s still another secret left to drop first, one that’ll hurt even more.’

Voren’s anger eased slightly. ’Fine. But if he pushes me again—’

’I know,’ Seraphine cut in before he could finish.

Across the room, Ravyn’s attention turned to Alpha D, the one who had spoken up. His expression became completely unreadable as every word that left his mouth dripped with cold suspicion.

"You sound awfully defensive for someone who claims this is about fairness. Tell me something." His piercing stare never left the man’s face, and his voice turned cold enough to freeze the room solid. "Did you fuck her too?"
