Ravyn didn’t react at all. Daisy’s voice might as well have vanished into thin air for how much attention he paid it. His gaze stayed completely locked on Seraphine, unable to tear himself away from the breathtaking woman sitting so comfortably in the chair that was supposed to belong to Voren.

A sharp sting of jealousy pierced straight through Daisy’s chest. She clenched her hands tight, forcing a smile that never came close to reaching her eyes. When Ravyn refused to even acknowledge her, she turned directly toward Seraphine instead.

"Sera." Her voice carried loud and clear across the room. "That seat is already taken. It’s reserved for Alpha Voren."

The second the words left her mouth, whispers exploded through the hall. Several Lunas exchanged knowing glances before leaning in to share their thoughts.

"Daisy really never learns."

"If I were her, I’d keep my mouth shut after everything that happened last night."

"Exactly."

"She’s only making herself look worse."

"I’d be too embarrassed to say another word."

Each whispered comment landed like another sharp needle stabbing into Daisy’s pride. Her face burned hot with humiliation. She wanted nothing more than for the floor to open up and swallow her whole.

Before the awkward silence could stretch out any longer and make everything even worse, Seraphine calmly turned toward Voren. A playful smile tugged at the corners of her lips.

"Voren..." She deliberately used his first name instead of his title, letting the familiarity hang in the air. "You don’t mind, do you?"

Every Alpha nearby stiffened in their seats. None of them would have ever dared speak to the Supreme Alpha so casually. Voren stayed perfectly composed, his face giving nothing away as those deep eyes rested on Seraphine.

"No." The answer came without even a second of hesitation. "I wasn’t planning to sit there anyway."

His calm acceptance sent another wave of pain crashing through Daisy’s heart. For one brief moment, bitter disappointment washed over her completely.

Then the memory of the wish she had made beneath that full moon came flooding back, soothing the ugly bitterness trying to eat her alive. Soon enough, everything would change in ways they couldn’t even imagine.

Her fingers brushed over the elegant golden gown that hugged every curve of her body, her long blonde hair cascading beautifully over her shoulders and matching the shimmering fabric perfectly.

Today she would officially become Ravyn’s Luna. Even if the ceremony carried the same weight as marriage, Daisy stayed utterly convinced of one unshakable truth: the mate bond was stronger than any vow, stronger than any ceremony, stronger than any promise.

Once Voren became her mate, Seraphine wouldn’t matter anymore. She would make absolutely sure he cut every single tie connecting him to that she-wolf, every partnership, every conversation, every reason to stay close. The thought alone brought a small, satisfied smile to her lips.

The officiator stepped forward with a ceremonial scroll in his hands and cleared his throat. His gaze accidentally drifted toward Seraphine again, and for a brief second, he completely forgot why he was even standing there.

She was impossible to ignore, with those diamonds woven into her gown shimmering beneath the crystal lights and making her look almost unreal. He quickly pulled himself together and continued.

"I hereby declare Daisy Reel the official Luna of the Centenary Pack. From today onwards, she shall be called Luna Daisy Walker."

Thunderous applause erupted throughout the entire hall. Guests rose to their feet, some cheering loudly while others clapped politely, their eyes secretly drifting back to Seraphine the whole time.

Ravyn leaned forward and brushed a brief, formal kiss across Daisy’s lips, respectful and nothing more. Once tradition had been fulfilled, the newly crowned Alpha and Luna began making their way around the hall, offering polite greetings to the elders and officiators one by one.

Not long afterward, the elders excused themselves so they could return to the area where the pack’s pups were being cared for during the ceremony.

The moment the senior members left, the whole atmosphere changed dramatically. The formal event melted away into a full-blown celebration.

Music filled the gym as waiters appeared from every direction carrying trays loaded with expensive drinks and elegant appetizers. At the same time, omegas moved through the room with incredible speed.

Within minutes, the ceremony space had completely transformed before everyone’s eyes. Rows of chairs disappeared, replaced by large round tables covered in crisp white linens. Fresh flowers decorated every centerpiece, and fine dinnerware sparkled beautifully beneath the chandeliers. The once-simple gym now looked exactly like the reception hall of some luxurious royal celebration.

Seraphine found herself seated with Corvine, Athaliah, Kael, and Prince Jasper. Even sitting across from him left her feeling deeply uncomfortable.

Something about Jasper always kept her guard up high, but she endured it for Athaliah’s sake. He was her brother, after all, and she didn’t want to create any unnecessary tension.

One chair beside Jasper stayed empty for only a short while. Before anyone else could claim it, Alpha Killian strode over and lowered himself into the seat.

His arrival instantly changed the entire mood around the table. Athaliah’s smile vanished completely. Her shoulders stiffened, and she avoided looking in his direction altogether. Corvine noticed right away. His expression darkened, but he stayed silent.

Seraphine quietly observed everything, catching the thick, uncomfortable tension crackling between them. Then her attention drifted across the room.

Several Alphas had already started gathering their belongings, looking ready to leave now that the formalities were over. A faint smile appeared on Seraphine’s face. Perfect. This was exactly the moment she had been waiting for.

She rose gracefully from her chair. The soft sound of crystal echoed through the room as she picked up a champagne glass. Almost instantly, conversations faded and curious eyes turned toward her. With effortless elegance, she lifted the glass just slightly.

"Allow me to be the first to congratulate Alpha Ravyn and Luna Daisy."

A few polite smiles appeared around the room. Then her expression changed completely. The warmth faded from her beautiful face, replaced by quiet, unshakable confidence.

"That being said..." Her voice stayed calm and steady, carrying through the hall. "I didn’t come here for this coronation."

Silence spread like wildfire across the entire space. Every eye remained fixed on her. Her blue eyes settled directly on Ravyn.

"I’m here for one reason." She gently lowered the champagne glass onto the table. "To take back my son... Bryan."

The entire hall exploded with shocked murmurs.

"What?"

"Did she just call Bryan her son?"

"What’s going on?"

"Didn’t everyone know Bryan belongs to Alpha Ravyn and Daisy?"

Faces filled with confusion whipped back and forth from Seraphine to Ravyn. Ravyn’s smile disappeared instantly.

His expression tightened with frustration. Over the past few days, he had started seeing Seraphine differently and even begun admiring her strength and intelligence.

Yet somehow, she always found a way to throw him completely off balance. His jaw hardened as he stared at her.

"Sera." Frustration crept heavy into his voice. "What’s gotten into you?" He took a step closer. "We’ve already talked about this." His eyes searched hers desperately, hoping she would back down. "Bryan isn’t your son."

Seraphine didn’t look rattled in the slightest. Instead of answering him right away, she slowly turned toward all the guests surrounding them.

Her gaze swept across the room, taking in every Alpha, every Luna, and every elder who had remained. Then she smiled. It wasn’t warm or friendly. It was the smile of someone who had finally decided it was time to uncover the truth.

"Why don’t we allow our distinguished guests to judge for themselves?" Her voice remained soft, clear, and utterly confident. Then her eyes returned to Ravyn. "Or... should I begin by telling everyone how you killed my daughter?"

A wave of horrified gasps swept through the reception hall. The room fell into a deathly silence. Every single face turned toward Ravyn. His blood ran ice cold. A bead of sweat rolled slowly down his temple.
