Chapter 776: Chapter 776 - 307: "Snow White" (2)
"Mr. Leme." Harry asked first, "Is there a magic potion that can stabilize the body? I’m worried that Annie might not be able to withstand the Purification Spell, after all, she’s been trapped in the seal for a hundred years."
"There is, Harry, there is." Mr. Leme replied, quickly running to the cabinet on the side, bouncing to take a bottle of purple magic potion from the top, and handed it to Harry, "Here, this will definitely maintain Miss Salu’s physical state, ensuring she doesn’t collapse too quickly."
"You always have a way, Mr. Leme," Harry said happily.
"After all, I’ve lived for over seven hundred years, haven’t I?" Mr. Leme said with a chuckle.
Now that they had what they wanted, the group left Leme’s Alchemy Room and headed into the Forbidden Forest.
"If I should say," Pabi tightened her clothes, "I think it’s still too cold at night, what on earth is this weather in the United Kingdom..."
"Isn’t such a distinctive day and night temperature difference good?" Vivi said with a laugh, "Or would experiencing Sahara Desert weather keep you honest?"
"Sahara Desert?" Pabi’s eyes were filled with clear foolishness, "What’s that?"
Can’t blame her, after all, a wizard... doesn’t really know what the Sahara Desert is.
She’s not an African wizard either.
"It’s... you could understand it as the climate of Egypt." Vivi said something the wizards could understand.
"Oh, then forget it." Pabi sneezed, "That kind of dry and hot weather, who on earth would like it?"
In front of Czech Dole’s cave, it was already covered with spider webs, looking desolate and rundown.
"Is this the little cave where you and Potter had a date?" Cassandra asked with interest, "Hmm, and Czech Dole... was the one in love with Miss Black, right? Really..."
"Are you jealous?" Vivi asked with a smug smile using her ultimate move.
"No." Cassandra said firmly, "Why would I be jealous of Potter? Don’t joke around, Grindelwald..."
"Alright, you’re not jealous." Vivi said with a smile, looking up and shaking her head, "It seems that the Eight-eyed Giant Spiders have taken over here, they probably won’t allow us to enter this cave..."
As soon as she finished speaking, a clicking sound started coming from all around.
At some point, many huge Eight-eyed Giant Spiders had surrounded them.
You all really have courage, really, Harry thought to himself.
As soon as he raised his magic wand, those spiders quickly retreated.
"Huh?" Harry was somewhat baffled, why did these spiders leave?
"Oh, I know." Vivi said, "Harry has the scent of Alfonso, maybe these spiders are afraid of the Snake Monster."
"In that case..."
Harry said, releasing Alfonso.
"Why not just bring him out?"
Alfonso suddenly felt a vastness around him, and without opening his eyes, he hissed and asked, trying to flatter, "Honorable master, do you have any orders for your humble servant Alfonso?"
"Oh, giving you some free time." Harry patted the Snake Monster’s head, "A batch of Eight-eyed Giant Spiders has appeared in the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts; if you’re interested, you can help yourself to a feast."
"Wow, really, master?" Snake Monster Alfonso was overjoyed, "Eight-eyed Giant Spiders are my favorite food—I’m on my way!"
Within seconds, the snake monster slithered away, diving into the depths of the Forbidden Forest.
"You just let it go like that?" Cassandra turned her eyes in the direction of the snake monster, "Aren’t you afraid he might be tempted again by Voldemort? Or that he might suddenly rebel against you?"
"That won’t happen." Harry said confidently, "I have a small piece of its soul fragment; it will never betray me."
Oh, that’s why you’re so assured, waiting for this moment, aren’t you?
"Looks like you still have your own methods, right?" Vivi shook her head with a laugh, "Forget it, let’s first go into Czech Dole’s cave and take a look. Finding Annie is our first priority, the spiders outside the Forbidden Forest will be handled by Alfonso, we don’t need to worry."
Upon saying that, she took the lead and walked into the cave.
The cave wasn’t much different from the last time they were there, if they could ignore those webs it was indeed the same.
The group used Flame Spells all along the way to burn away those entangled webs, constantly probing forward.
"Hey, this thing." Vivi arrived at a mechanism and said to Harry, "Remember how we opened the door before? By using Fluorescent Flickering to guide these mechanisms to where they should be, look—Lumos (Fluorescent Flickering)!"
Harry followed her lead, guiding another mechanism back to its original position.
At the moment the mechanism returned to place, a sound like thunder echoed, and then, the door rumbled open, revealing a crystal bridge at the edge of the cliff leading straight ahead.
This bridge looked well-made, definitely not cheap to build either.
"If I’m not mistaken, it should be over here." Harry asserted, "The other side is where Voldemort hid the Resurrection Stone, so it wouldn’t be where Annie’s seal is."
They crossed the crystal bridge without any spider interruptions, suggesting they had abandoned the cave.
Harry was quite pleased, as Eight-eyed Giant Spiders are precious magic potion materials, and Alfonso’s favorite economical food, it was better not to kill them if possible.
Before long, they were stopped by a strange magical wave.
"This should be the place." Harry said, "Maybe there is a guide left by Omnius over there... let’s go have a look."
Just then, a commotion came from behind them.
Harry turned around and saw that the crystal stone bridge had vanished.
"The bridge is gone," he said.
"It’s alright." Vivi said with a smile, "We can still leave here by using Apparition Displacement—if Apparition doesn’t work, I also have a Door Key to quickly return to the Ministry of Magic in Vienna."
"Then let’s keep going." Harry led the way, holding his magic wand, using a Detection Spell to scan the surroundings as he walked to avoid any ambushes.
Sadly, all his precautions were in vain, as there were no ambushes, except for occasionally some odd stones around corners that startled Pabi; otherwise, nothing strange happened.
The further they walked, the stronger the magical wave became, until they arrived at a big door.
In front of the door was a unique restriction, and Harry looked around to find a way to unlock it.
"It seems Omnius forgot to tell us how to unlock it," he said while feeling the door.
To his surprise, as soon as he touched the door, it opened with a roar.
"Huh?" Harry asked belatedly, "Is it this simple?"
"It won’t be." Vivi said, "Omnius wouldn’t make a defense this simple; he likely added a protective restriction that recognizes your magic power, activating when you personally touch the door to remove the protection."
"He truly is a genius, isn’t he?" Harry sighed.
"Alright, I suggest you stop waxing poetic about others." Cassandra said sarcastically from behind, "Now, Prince, are you going to go forward and kiss the sleeping Snow White awake?"
