Chapter 771: Chapter 771 - 305: You Seem a Bit Too Extreme
Find someone to experiment with?
Truly worthy of a chaotic and evil transfer student, saying things like this.
"Isn’t this a bit inappropriate?" Pabi hesitantly began, "Finding someone for experiments and whatnot, that’s totally something only Dark Wizards would do, right?"
Upon hearing Pabi’s words, Vivi lowered her sunglasses below her nose.
Her gaze was sharp as a knife, scraping across Pabi’s skin.
Pabi shivered and quickly changed tack: "Ah, that’s not what I meant, I mean... uh, what I’m trying to say is..."
"Just stop talking, Pabi." Harry helplessly cut in to save her, "Actually, Vivi didn’t mean it that way, she just wants to help Annie break the Black Magic Curse, there’s nothing wrong with that."
Pabi flashed a smile uglier than crying.
Is she at fault for anything, she’s just a pure innocent little girl, right?
You can’t reason with people with romance-filled brains!
Cassandra suddenly spoke up.
"I support Grindelwald’s suggestion," she said, "If we want to safely break the curse on Saru, then... we certainly need to find a foolproof method — obviously, this is a pretty good one."
"You support Vivi too?" Harry raised an eyebrow to ask.
"Of course." Cassandra raised one corner of her mouth, "As a Slytherin, I don’t have those supposed moral burdens like Hufflepuff and Gryffindor — but, if you all think it’s inappropriate, perhaps we can find some Dark Wizards to try, what do you say?"
Dark Wizard?
Look around the United Kingdom now; are there any Dark Wizards left? They’ve all shrunk back, or gone into hiding with Voldemort, or been locked up in Azkaban.
Looking for a Dark Wizard in Azkaban is indeed quite easy, but also quite troublesome.
"No objection from me." Harry said, "But... where do we get the Black Magic Curse?"
"Though I can’t break Black Magic Curses, I can cast them," Vivi said with a cheerful grin, "Though it might not match Voldemort’s mastery, it’s not too far off."
Saying this, Vivi extended one finger.
"Oh," she said, "Coincidentally, the Magic Prison in Vienna has just locked up a batch of Dark Wizards recently; I can specially authorize using some of those heinous Dark Wizards to experiment on the curse."
This is the power of the Minister of Magic.
Can’t get the Dark Wizards from the UK Magic Prison, but I can from Austria, can’t I?
"Are they really heinous?" Pabi asked uncertainly.
Vivi reached out to pinch Pabi’s little face.
"Oh, Pabi, you’re so cute."
Pabi puffed her cheeks to symbolize some dissatisfaction.
Is "cute" the word you should use to describe me here?
Does this make sense?
"Then it’s settled, Grindelwald." Cassandra decided lazily while sunbathing, "Tonight or tomorrow, we’ll go to Vienna, and find a few heinous prisoners, letting Harry cleanse the Black Magic Curses from them."
"Mm." Vivi responded nasal-ly, picking up the lemonade by the table and sipping lightly from the straw.
The two grand ladies had already jovially settled the plan, giving Harry no room to oppose.
Cassandra’s thinking was simple, which was to give the Dark Wizards a hard time, taking the blame upon themselves.
Whether or not others would eventually find out about this matter, it wasn’t Harry who initiated it anyway.
But acknowledging it was impossible; the haughty ones are like this, rather misunderstood, still choosing their twisted and awkward ways to be kind to others.
In truth, Harry was not keen to oppose, after all, this concerned his best friend’s sister.
After spending an afternoon sunbathing on the beach, they returned to the hotel, still lingering in satisfaction.
As Cassandra and Pabi returned to freshen up, Vivi stopped Harry who was heading off to shower.
"Don’t blame Kathy for today’s matters," Vivi said lightly.
"What?" Harry didn’t get what Vivi was implying.
"I just don’t want any misunderstanding to arise between you and her, Harry," Vivi smiled, "Today she proactively finalized this matter with me, it’s not out of disrespect for you, but — you should know, she’s quite an awkward person, her actions meant that if this matter gets exposed, she intended for the blame to lie with her, not you. Can you understand?"
"I understand." Harry nodded, "But you two also very much underestimate me..."
"Be good, you’re still a student, and need to complete your studies at Hogwarts," Vivi cheerfully tousled Harry’s unruly hair, "I’m the sister of the Dark Wizard Grindelwald, and Cassandra is the daughter of the Malfoy Clan loyal to Voldemort... we truly care little for reputation."
"But you’re the Minister of Magic." Harry stated, reaching for the newspaper, "Look, even Fudge worries about reputation, have you seen what he’s published in the Prophet Daily? It’s not just slandering Dumbledore to the fullest, he’s even dragged me into it... so you see, my reputation isn’t great at the moment either."
"Really?" Vivi raised a brow, picking up the newspaper, her face darkening.
Okay, okay, you’ve got yourself a death sentence!
How dare you speak ill of Harry this way!
"It’s just another phase of life, Vivi," Harry took the newspaper back, addressing Vivi, "I do think you should maintain your image somewhat, because a Minister of Magic casually experimenting with prisoners can create a... well, brutal impression."
Vivi smiled indifferently, but still accepted Harry’s kind advice.
