Chapter 765: Chapter 765 - 302: The New Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts
Cassandra was truly at a loss with Vivi’s Versailles.
Who could compete when her aunt was an Empress? And not just any empress—a Vienna-based Empress of the Austria-Hungary Empire, the world art center.
Even though the Malfoy family was mighty in the Magic World back then, it was still limited to just the Magic World, which didn’t really work in the Muggle World.
After all, Cassandra only knew the old ancestor from those days, unlike Vivi, who could follow her around as a lady-in-waiting.
Don’t underestimate wizards’ pursuit of social status in the Muggle World. Although pure-blood wizards seem to disdain Muggles, the ancestors of the Malfoy family did pursue the queen back in the day.
"Let’s go eat," Harry quickly suggested, interrupting the increasingly intense spark between the two.
It wasn’t that he was afraid they might start a fight; he was worried about getting caught in the crossfire.
Oh, come on, what a jerk!
Of course, Harry wouldn’t see himself as a jerk; he just had a craving for oysters and Danish meatballs from that place.
Speaking of which, he hadn’t tasted Danish cuisine yet.
"I didn’t say I wouldn’t go," Cassandra said, holding her head high.
Vivi smiled lightly but said nothing.
These days, she found teasing Cassandra quite amusing.
She had to admit, it was quite addictive.
"I’ll go call Pabi," Harry said, looking somewhat uneasy as he glanced at Vivi, then Cassandra. "You two stay here and be good, alright? No fighting—"
"Do you think I’m a kid?" Cassandra asked, displeased. "A fight? With this brute, Grindelwald? Hah, I wouldn’t bother..."
Vivi said nothing, she just smiled warmly at Cassandra.
"I’ll go with you," Cassandra quickly stood up.
The moment she saw Vivi’s smile, Cassandra felt uneasy inside.
What if this wicked woman does something to me when Harry is away? What then? What should I do?
It’s better to go out with Harry.
"Alright then," Harry nodded, feeling more at ease, "let’s all go out together, we’re going to eat anyway."
The three of them left the room and went to Pabi’s room.
Just about to knock on the door, Cassandra suddenly sensed something was off.
"Wait!" Cassandra turned around seriously, "Something’s not right, really not right—Grindelwald, where exactly are you staying? I don’t remember you registering a room at this hotel."
This was an important question, so much so that Cassandra couldn’t take it lightly.
If she wasn’t here, it wouldn’t matter, but now that she was in the hotel, she couldn’t let Grindelwald take advantage, could she?
"Oh." Vivi nodded and didn’t bother to hide, "I’m staying in Harry’s room, haven’t gotten a chance to book a room yet—besides, I’m Harry’s girlfriend, staying in the same room with him shouldn’t be an issue, right?"
"You’re Harry’s girlfriend?" Cassandra snorted coldly, "Then what am I? Harry? You say!"
Say what?
Harry’s heart skipped a beat.
But he was quite experienced; he had seen similar situations many times before.
At times like this, Harry remained as steady as an old hound, not showing the slightest unease.
"You’re also my girlfriend, Kathy," Harry said calmly, "if you want, you can stay in my room too. As you know, it’s quite big, enough for three of us."
That was true, Harry’s room was a suite with four beds, plenty for them to sleep in.
"Who would want to... "
Cassandra instinctively wanted to refuse, but suddenly remembered that if she did, Grindelwald would surely take advantage of it.
No way, can’t let Grindelwald take advantage!
Cassandra immediately said, "In that case, I’ll stay in this room with you too... uh, four beds, enough for us to sleep."
As she spoke, she didn’t forget to emphasize, "I’m only monitoring this shameless woman Grindelwald, Harry, I need to keep an eye on her so she doesn’t do anything too excessive."
"Oh?" Vivi suddenly stepped forward, placing a hand on Cassandra’s shoulder, forehead touching her forehead, she asked softly, "What do you think I would do that’s excessive?"
"Who knows what you’d do?" Cassandra broke free from Vivi’s hold, hummed, and said, "Alright, let’s call Pabi to eat together first."
Harry then knocked on the door, and soon, it was opened.
"Hey?" Pabi glanced at Vivi, then at Cassandra, "What’s this? When did Vivi get here? Why didn’t I know?"
"Middle of the night," Cassandra crossed her arms, "this shameless woman actually slept in Harry’s room... Pabi, you better be careful, keep a close watch on her, don’t let her do anything terribly bad!"
"Oh, okay," Pabi nodded quickly, "I’ll keep an eye on her, don’t worry, Cassandra!"
But as Pabi said this, he was clearly nervously watching Vivi’s expression, and was relieved when he saw she wasn’t displeased.
"Let’s eat," Vivi suggested, "I’m quite hungry, Harry mentioned there’s a nice restaurant on White Island with delicious oysters and Danish meatballs, why don’t we go together?"
"Yay!" Pabi said happily, "I want meatballs too, ah yes, last night’s Chinese food wasn’t great—nowhere near as good as Teacher Hao Ying’s cooking!"
