Chapter 761: Chapter 761 - 300: Let’s Get Married
By about noon, they arrived at White Island.
"Indeed, the scenery is delightful." Little Sirius spread his arms and said, breathing deeply.
It must be admitted that the scenery at White Island is indeed beautiful, perfect for a vacation.
They arrived at a hotel called Yelver, which is located in a popular area, just eight minutes’ walk from the beach, a prime location to say the least.
Most importantly, the hotel consists of two buildings—one open to Muggles, while the other is shielded by a Muggle-Repelling Charm, exclusively for Wizards.
As Wizards, Harry and his party booked the hotel meant for Wizards.
From the outside, the hotel didn’t appear tall, but upon entering, they discovered something quite different inside.
This was a specialty of Wizards, thanks to the Traceless Stretching Spell, allowing endless utilization of limited space.
"Rooms will be distributed on your own," Little Sirius said, holding a stack of room cards, "Well... married couples can have a room for two, as for the unmarried ones, as the elder, I don’t recommend you share a room."
While talking, Little Sirius was looking at the ceiling.
"Alright then." Harry took the card for room 201 and said to Little Sirius, "I’ll head up first—201, this room number is nice, wonder how the view is."
Everyone received their own room card, and they happily went to their respective rooms.
The first thing Ron did upon entering his room was to unfold a letter and write to Seamus and Neville, who didn’t come along.
The letter praised the scenery of White Island and suggested they come along quickly.
Rather than idling at home, it’s better to roam around here.
After watching Zhu Weiqiong leave the room, Ron knocked on Hermione’s door.
"Ron?" Hermione had just changed into a new outfit, and upon seeing Ron, she smiled happily, "What’s up?"
"Just wanted to chat." Ron said with a smile, "Is it convenient?"
"Yeah, come in." Hermione glanced outside, "I have something to talk to you about as well—Hmm, what are you waiting for? Standing outside is fun?"
Meanwhile, Harry... once he entered his room, he just lay down on the bed.
He sank into the bed as soft as a cloud, not wanting to get up at all.
He was so tired and felt he should take a nap.
Thinking like this, he unknowingly fell into a dream.
Until he was awakened by Little Sirius.
"Time to wake up, Harry." Little Sirius shook Harry and said, "It’s time for dinner, think about it, what should we have?"
"I don’t know either." Harry yawned and said, "What’s good to eat on White Island? Something distinctive to White Island?"
"Let’s talk outside." Little Sirius patted Harry’s shoulder and went out first.
Standing outside, Harry asked, "Where’s Newt? Why don’t I see them?"
"Newt’s already asleep," Little Sirius explained with a smile, "Last night seemed to be quite busy, so he hasn’t rested yet, apparently something from his home’s Magical Creatures—From Sirius, it’s a bit troublesome."
"Zouwu, right?" Harry said, "I remember that Magical Creature, looks a bit like a cat, just several sizes bigger."
Little Sirius didn’t know what Zouwu looked like, but if he did, he surely would have quipped.
You call it "just several sizes bigger"?
"So, have you decided on what to eat?" Little Sirius asked, "Hermione told me she researched the local picks on White Island. There’s a restaurant called ’Little Gloster’, their oysters and Danish meatballs are quite renowned."
"Oysters..." Harry suddenly recalled a novel he once read by Maupassant, where the protagonist watched a noblewoman eat oysters on a ship, he still remembers it.
This novel was read long ago, reportedly back when Maupassant was still alive.
No mistake, after all, Harry read the novel in second grade, and Maupassant passed away in 1893—if Harry hadn’t traveled to a century later, in 1893 he should have been just starting seventh grade.
"Or we could go to Royal China." Little Sirius suggested again, "It’s said to be a famous Chinese restaurant, we should change things up, shouldn’t we?"
"Chinese food sounds good too." Harry grew interested, "I happen to have somewhat of an understanding of Chinese cuisine."
Indeed, a century ago, Harry’s Magical Creatures Protection Class professor was Professor Hao Ying from Ming Country.
Ah yes, although at the time Sirius was Qing Country, Professor Hao Ying always emphasized she was from Ming Country, not Qing Country.
Harry didn’t quite understand the difference, aren’t they both Sirius?
"I want Chinese food too!" Hermione suddenly appeared beside them, "Ron wants it too, right? Ron?"
"Oh, I do want it." Ron’s tone was noticeably devoid of emotion.
If you’re being threatened, blink your eyes, Ron!
There’s no need to dine together for dinner; everyone can choose their preferred restaurant.
But ultimately, one must still portray merging in with the Muggles, avoiding seeming too out of place, so they all proudly stepped into a Chinese restaurant.
Luckily, there were rather large private rooms inside.
"Let’s order." Harry confidently took the menu, "It’s no exaggeration when I say I’ve had lots of delicious Chinese food, like..."
He lowered his head.
What the hell is this General Tso’s chicken?
