Standing on the city wall, the Scorpion Guard Captain watched as the members of the Crimson Arc Guild fled for their lives.

"How could this be?!" the Guard Captain muttered, his face filled with disbelief.

He had expected the Horn Lizard Soldiers to slaughter each and every one of them.

But now, they have managed to escape.

How could he accept this?

His eyes lingered on Solenne’s fleeing figure, and his heart skipped a beat.

’They must not be allowed to escape.’

His heart raced.

He could not imagine the implications of what would happen if Solenne and her guild members were allowed to escape.

If such enemies survived, they would inevitably return in the future for their revenge.

Previously he might not have cared about some human revenge but now, he did not dare ignore human strength.

"Open the gate!" he shouted immediately.

"Quick! Open the gate!"

"Chase after those humans!"

For a moment, the guards watching the chaotic escape were stunned and confused.

Why would they chase the humans?

Wasn’t it the Horn Lizard Soldiers’ job to pursue them?

The beast let out a sharp cry before charging out of the city gates.

With the Guard Captain leading the pursuit, the other guards urged their mounts forward at full speed.

Clouds of dust rose behind them as dozens of Scorpion Guards poured out of Scorpion City.

With the Twins’ Party assisting the Crimson Arc Guild in breaking free from the Horn Lizard Soldiers’ encirclement, the battlefield had descended into complete chaos.

Crowds who had been watching the battle from afar were stunned by the sudden turn of events.

No one had expected Solenne to be so decisive.

They had all expected her to fight to the death.

But they were wrong.

Watching the fleeing Twins’ Party and the fleeing members of the Crimson Arc Guild racing in their direction, the crowd stood frozen for a brief moment.

"Run!"

Coming back to their senses, the crowd screamed and scattered in every direction.

With the Horn Lizard Soldiers in hot pursuit, only a fool would remain standing where they were.

Chaos spread in every direction.

However, the Twins’ Party and the Crimson Arc Guild did not care.

To them, this was an opportunity to escape easily.

Climbing to the top of a dune, the twins looked at each other and nodded.

They stared downward at the pursuing Horn Lizard Soldiers, and without hesitation, they began to cast their spells.

A powerful gust of wind gathered around the female twin, and with each passing second, it grew fiercer and larger. The surrounding sand was violently lifted into the air, forming a spiraling vortex around her body.

To her right, the male twin had already cast a massive fireball, blazing fiercely.

The temperature around them had risen by several degrees.

The scorching heat distorted the surrounding air, causing the space around the fireball to ripple continuously.

But the twins were not yet done.

They began to merge their two spells together.

Slowly, the massive fireball began to turn bluish.

The raging winds compressed the flames, causing them to burn even hotter while rapidly increasing in size.

It continued rising higher and higher into the sky.

The terrifying pressure radiating from the spell caused everyone below to instinctively raise their heads.

Watching their actions, Solenne and the members of the Crimson Arc Guild were stunned for a moment.

But they never stopped running.

None of them wasted the opportunity the twins had created.

Many were panting heavily.

Their breathing had long become ragged after such an exhausting battle.

Those carrying the injured gritted their teeth, pushing forward with all their might.

Behind them, the Horn Lizard Commander also noticed the growing spell. His serpentine eyes narrowed into thin slits.

His scales instinctively hardened.

His heart burned with rage.

His bestial instincts were screaming at him.

Extreme danger.

Yet, he ignored them.

They could not allow the humans to escape. Otherwise, their mission would be deemed a complete failure.

"Charge!"

"Chase them! Don’t let them escape!"

He roared, pushing his speed to the limit.

Howl!

All the Horn Lizard Soldiers roared as one and increased their speed to the limit.

Thousands of heavy footsteps shook the desert as they relentlessly pursued the fleeing humans.

Just then a sharp whistling sound came from above.

It grew louder and louder.

Almost like a meteor falling from the heavens.

Raising their heads, they saw the sky covered by a gigantic mass of bluish flames charging toward them at an alarming speed.

The enormous inferno blotted out the sunlight.

An overwhelming pressure descended upon the battlefield.

The expressions of the pursuing Horn Lizard Soldiers instantly changed.

Many instinctively slowed their steps.

Others stared upward with pale faces.

Before any of them could react, the gigantic bluish fireball had already arrived above them.

"Scatter!" Their commander roared with all his strength.

But It was already too late.

Boom!

A deafening explosion erupted across the desert.

The compressed flames instantly exploded outward, transforming into a raging sea of blue fire that swallowed everything within its path.

Countless Horn Lizard Soldiers were blasted into the air before they could even scream.
