Three months had already passed since Elena had started to live in ths village of the future hero. In the last three months, she had very naturally became extremely close with everyone.

During this time period, the village had faced two more monster attacks. One from Four Clawed Flaming Tyrant Bear and another one from Thousand Eyed Terror Python.

Those two were famous monsters from beyond the river. They did not dare to attack the Village only because with the River king monster present, those two were too scared to swim across the river.

But now that the river king was gone, they were able to cross the river and attack the human village. Normally facing an attack like this, either the village had to pay an insane sum of money to ask help from the nearby city or the people would have to leave the village and run away.

But with Elena here, everything was fine. When the bear had attacked, the very next day the village had a party with bear meat as the main attraction. And after the python attack, all the villagers were given a fancy looking small bag made of python skin as a gift by Elena.

So this lady was protecting their village, giving everyone gifts and was even teaching the younger generation. There was no way anyone could remain ungrateful toward her after all this.

So after waking up from a pleasant sleep, as Elena went toward a large barren farm which had now become a school, anyone who saw her on the way greeted her politely with a bow of their heads.

Elena also greeted them back with a sweet smile of hers which melted everyone’s heart. No matter if it was a male or a female, everyone was in love with Elena.

Normally for a husband and wife, their significant other having someone else other than them also in their heart was a very problematic thing.

But when both of the sides had the same person in mind, instead of ruining their relationship, the couple became even more loving because of their shared love interest.

So in this fashion, Elena reached the new school where the young boys and girls were already training. The hero Shin was included among them.

He had made a lot of progress in the last three months. Now even though he was just a super young children, he was still capable of defeating low level monsters.

The other children were also making a lot of progress but no one was as fast as him. There was a reason why Elena had chosen him as the hero and no one else.

His good natured personality was definitely one of the factors but there were a lot of good natured children out there. So the main reason for his selection was his talents and his special kind of destiny.

Obviously just like all the other universes, this one also had fate and destiny. Most people were under the control of the fate.

And unlike Elena’s own universe where Fate was handled loosely by the will of the universe to give the inhabitants more freedom, the fate here in this universe was handled more strictly.

That was why, someone having the fate of a hero was way bigger of a deal here compared to the other universe.

With this kind of fate in work, even without him trying, Shin would definitely be able to reach the rank of 8 one day with enough time. As for going higher than that, it would depend on his own efforts.

There were actually a few more humanoids who had similar kind of heroic destiny. It looked like this was the unconscious will of this universe trying to make some kind of change and break the stagnation.

But with how deeply all the inhabitants of this world were controlled by the top powerhouses, even so many individuals with heroic fate were unable to accomplish the main goal.

Even among those future heroes, Shin was special. His fate worked in a terrible way and made him stronger only after he faced a calamity that he alone would be powerless against.

So him going to the river and encountering this monster there was just work of his fate. His friends and childhood sweetheart were supposed to die there and from this experience, Shin would have been able to strengthen his determination and start working hard in order to taken revenge.

This was the type of fate which was extremely tragic. Among the other hero candidates, no one else was so unlucky. Only he was the special case.

For this reason, Elena felt extremely bad. And with this in mind, she really really wanted to help him out so that this young man would not need to go through something this terrible.

Other than his tragic heroic fate, his special talents were also very strong. Strong enough to give him the qualification to reach the rank of 11 with proper practice and hard work.

He actually had three talents and they would start to awaken after he had turned 12.

His first talent was Analyzer. It was an excellent talent that would help in understanding and modifying his power system. It would also be useful in learning from other powerhouses.

It was definitely not a combat oriented talent but as a supportive talent, this one was top notch.

Then his second talent was "Overcomer". This was a mysterious talent which would allow him to surpass his limits whenever his life was in danger or he was going through some incredibly traumatic event.

Without Elena’s intervention, this talent would have been the reason why Shin would have become super strong very quickly. With so many tragedies very closely following him, this talent of his would be activated many times, making him stronger and stronger at a very short period of time.

This sounded incredible but actually, it was a troublesome talent. With this kind of explosive growth, Shin would have no way to polish his strength properly.

So even with high ranks, Shin’s combat power would be close to the bottom of that rank, which was definitely not a good thing. Power without proper control was quite useless.

So Elena was planning to control the activation of this talent with making him suffer the heart break. Risking him life was the way for that to happen and Elena was sure that Shin would prefer that over the other option.

And finally, his third talent was called "Celestial Emperor". This talent gave him access to a completely new power system and he would be the founder of this system. Just like how the Supreme Magus was the founder of the Magi system of power.

So with this much potential, Elena was really looking forward to Shin’s future.
