OOH OOH OOH~

As Fang Chenyi was comforting Fang Jinjin, he didn’t notice when Vajra had run up beside them.

Fang Jinjin, who had just stopped crying, saw the massive, dark, and utterly hideous head and immediately let out a terrified shriek.

The shriek was so high-pitched that Vajra flinched, instantly startled. It then scrambled more than ten meters away to hide behind a sun lounger, its large eyes peering out furtively in their direction.

"Ahhh! Brother! There’s a monster!!"

As his sister continued to scream, Fang Chenyi covered his ears and tried to comfort her.

A few minutes later, Fang Jinjin finally managed to reluctantly accept the existence of Vajra the gorilla.

At Fang Chenyi’s urging, Vajra cautiously emerged from behind the lounger, still looking a little scared.

After Vajra was introduced to Liu Yishou and the others, Fang Chenyi put him in Qi Xiaotian’s care, strictly warning the gorilla not to hurt anyone.

Fang Chenyi then led Bai Menghan back to their room.

He took a long, comfortable hot shower before throwing himself heavily onto the large, soft bed.

The pleasant sensation washing over him was so soothing that Fang Chenyi almost fell asleep on the spot.

"Heh heh, darling, it’s getting late. Why don’t we turn in for the night?"

After what felt like a life-and-death separation, Bai Menghan had missed Fang Chenyi terribly.

It was like dry tinder meeting a blazing flame. For the next several hours, neither of them left the room.

It wasn’t until well past dinnertime that Fang Chenyi and Bai Menghan, thoroughly satisfied, fell asleep in each other’s arms.

As for dinner? Who had time to eat?

Early the next morning, sunlight streamed through the glass window into Fang Chenyi’s room.

Waking from a deep sleep, Fang Chenyi looked at Bai Menghan sleeping soundly beside him. The corners of his mouth turned up in a slight smile. He leaned over to give her a gentle kiss, then carefully got out of bed and drew all the curtains.

He then tiptoed out of the room.

Standing on his private, open-air balcony—the highest on the cruise ship—Fang Chenyi let the cool morning sea breeze wash over his face. He gave a mighty stretch and gazed out at the vast, undulating ocean. In his heart, he had finally turned the page on his life on the island.

However, the faint smile still lingering on his lips seemed to suggest something else: ’This isn’t over yet!’

’That’s right. Life on the island might be over, but the reason I ended up stranded there in the first place... that’s not over.’

’I have to find out who wanted me dead. Who planted a bomb on my plane!’

’During his time on the island, Fang Chenyi had mulled it over more than once, but he still had no leads.’

’He just couldn’t figure out who he had pissed off.’

’But no matter who it is, I’ll make them pay!’

With that, he turned and left the balcony. He looked in on Bai Menghan, still soundly asleep, and gently pulled the covers over her before turning to leave the room.

He took his private elevator down to the bridge.

Qi Xiaotian and Liu Yishou were both there, but there was no sign of Demo Did.

When they saw Fang Chenyi walk in, they both stood.

"Brother Fang."

Fang Chenyi waved his hand, motioning for them to sit.

Once they were both seated, he spoke.

"Xiaotian, once we’re back in Dubai, can you find out who came after us?"

Hearing this, Qi Xiaotian slapped his forehead.

"Oh, man, my brain! How could I have forgotten to tell you? Demo Did already caught all of them. They’re locked up right here on the ship."

"Old Di caught them all?"

Fang Chenyi was taken aback. He hadn’t expected Demo Did to act so quickly, let alone capture all of them.

This would save him a lot of trouble.

Qi Xiaotian nodded and continued.

"Yes. After hearing about your accident, Demo Did helped us arrange for the helicopters and speedboats, and at the same time, he started investigating the cause. He brought the people he captured directly onto the cruise ship."

He paused for a moment before continuing, not waiting for Fang Chenyi to ask.

"The man who organized them is named David Rogerson."

Fang Chenyi froze for a second when he heard the name, then he immediately understood everything.

David Rogerson, David Rogers... The two names alone were enough for Fang Chenyi to grasp the whole story.

"He’s avenging his brother? But how did he find out about it so quickly?"

Qi Xiaotian nodded with a wry smile.

"The guy was on the Ocean Harmony, too. He had a lot of eyes and ears on board. He found out right when we were dealing with his brother, but we had too many men and we were armed, so he chose to lay low."

’That cleared up his last question. He had to admit, the guy’s plan was meticulous. If it hadn’t been for Qi Xiaotian’s sixth sense, honed by countless brushes with death, and his own preternatural sense of danger, he’d probably have been completely obliterated in that explosion.’

Seeing Fang Chenyi lost in thought, Qi Xiaotian asked:

"Brother Fang, how should we deal with these people?"

Fang Chenyi pondered for a long moment before raising his eyes to Qi Xiaotian. He said flatly:

"Weeds always grow back."

Both Liu Yishou and Qi Xiaotian shuddered when they heard him. It wasn’t that the idea of killing them was frightening; what was truly unsettling was the icy tone in Fang Chenyi’s voice.

Fang Chenyi wasn’t a bloodthirsty man; on the contrary, he was actually quite kind. He never would have taken David Rogers’s life if Rogers hadn’t tried to kill him first.

It was the same this time. If David Rogerson hadn’t planted a bomb on his plane, he wouldn’t have given the man a second thought, even knowing he was David Rogers’s brother.

He wouldn’t even have bothered to look for the three million US dollars David Rogers had stashed away.

’The guy had no one to blame but himself for courting death. If I go soft and let him off the hook this time, who’s to say a bomb won’t show up in my car next? Or in my parents’ car? Or my family’s?’

As soon as Fang Chenyi finished speaking, Qi Xiaotian immediately stood up. "I’ll take care of it, Brother Fang."

With that, he walked straight toward a temporary brig in the lower decks.

He arrived outside a room secured with an iron lock and guarded by four fully-armed crewmen. Qi Xiaotian simply waved a hand, dismissing them.

The men didn’t hesitate for a second. They turned and walked away.

Staring at the iron door before him, a bloodthirsty smile touched the corners of Qi Xiaotian’s mouth.
