"Holy shit, Boss! Is that a shark up ahead?"

The cry of alarm immediately drew everyone’s attention.

One by one, they lowered their binoculars and looked toward the sea in front of them. Sure enough, they saw a large fin cutting high through the water.

Everyone looked. What else could it be, if not a shark?

Instantly, Qi Xiaotian, Mu Tou, and Shi Tou grabbed the three rifles and aimed them at the shark in the water.

They knew their weapons wouldn’t be much use against such a huge beast, but they had no other choice.

But to Qi Xiaotian and the others’ surprise, Bai Menghan, who was standing to the side, showed little panic.

This was truly commendable. She wasn’t like Qi Xiaotian and his men, who had walked the line between life and death countless times and could therefore calm themselves quickly when facing such danger.

"Cut the engine! Stop all movement! Everyone, don’t move. Stay as still as possible! And another thing—no one fires without my command!"

Qi Xiaotian issued the orders while keeping his rifle raised and remaining on alert.

He knew that in the face of this beast, the speedboat they were on wasn’t one of those small, ultra-fast models.

Instead, it was a medium-sized speedboat with a top speed of only 50 to 60 kilometers per hour.

Therefore, they were no match for a shark that could swim at 70 or 80 kilometers per hour. If the great white really wanted to attack their boat, they would have absolutely no way of escaping it.

The best course of action now was to stay perfectly still. That way, after circling for a bit, there was a high chance the shark would leave on its own.

As the four of them watched with bated breath, the shark drew closer. One hundred meters. Fifty meters.

Just as their hearts leaped into their throats, something suddenly shot out of the water right next to the shark.

SPLOOSH!

As the sound of something hitting the water rang out, Qi Xiaotian and the others were left completely dumbfounded.

What had just leaped out of the water was a dolphin!

That’s right, a dolphin. There was no mistaking it. Not only was it a dolphin, but it was leaping and playing right next to the shark.

This left everyone stunned. Why would a dolphin be next to a shark? And from the looks of it, the shark had no intention of attacking it whatsoever!

Watching this bizarre turn of events, they all wondered if the shark would lunge forward and kill the audacious dolphin in a single bite. But then, another incredibly shocking scene unfolded.

They watched as the dolphin continued to leap out of the water around the shark. Then, when they were about thirty meters from the speedboat, the dolphin actually nudged the shark with its head.

To their utter astonishment, after this nudge, the great white didn’t lunge for a bite. Instead, it stopped moving forward and began to circle in place.

’How is this possible? A shark and a dolphin together... that’s like a cat and a mouse hanging out!’

’This defies all logic! Even Tom and Jerry don’t get along this well!’

While everyone was still bewildered, the dolphin suddenly started swimming rapidly toward them.

Knowing that dolphins don’t attack humans, Qi Xiaotian didn’t order them to fire, instead letting it swim right up to the speedboat.

"Kee-eee! Kee-eee!"

At the edge of the speedboat, the dolphin lifted the upper half of its body out of the water and began to call out to the people on board with its unique voice.

"Uh, what’s going on? Don’t tell me it’s hungry and asking us for food."

Qi Xiaotian’s question was on everyone’s mind. Although Bai Menghan knew several foreign languages, even she couldn’t figure out what the dolphin was trying to say.

After calling out a few more times, the dolphin seemed to realize they couldn’t understand it. It stopped calling, dove back into the sea, and immediately began swimming quickly in a specific direction.

After swimming for about thirty meters, the dolphin surfaced again and continued calling out to the people on the speedboat.

After a couple of calls, it dove back into the sea again, swam another few dozen meters, and surfaced once more.

And it wasn’t just the dolphin. The great white, which had been circling nearby, also started to follow the dolphin in that direction, staying right by its side.

"Menghan, do you think it’s telling us to follow them?"

Bai Menghan didn’t need Qi Xiaotian to point it out; she had already thought of the same thing. The only problem was, they didn’t understand what the dolphin wanted or where it was trying to lead them.

’Could it be... taking us to find Chenyi?’

Suddenly, the thought flooded Bai Menghan’s mind.

Once the idea appeared, it refused to go away. ’It must be him.’ Only Fang Chenyi could possibly make a great white and a dolphin team up. After all, that guy had done plenty of impossible things before.

"Quick! Start the engine and follow those two!"

Convinced there was a high probability her guess was right, Bai Menghan immediately cast aside her hesitation and shouted to Mu Tou, who was at the helm.

Upon hearing her command, Mu Tou didn’t ask any questions. He simply started the speedboat and steered it toward the dolphin.

Seeing that the speedboat was now following it, the dolphin seemed satisfied. It turned and continued to swim forward.
