In the Han’s family residence, Han Ziyan was shocked when she saw Han Ruochen return. She blinked her eyes and looked at the woman in front of her with a little confusion but when Han Ruochen did not ask her to go to the hospital, she heaved a sigh of relief and started to act incospicously, she had no idea what was going on but as long as she did not have to go to the hospital, everything was fine.

Han Ruochen also had no intention of talking with Han Ziyan. When she saw that the woman was not rushing to provoke her, she also ignored her.

"Sister!"

Just as Han Ruochen was thinking about washing her feet and taking some rest, she heard the voice of her little brother. She smiled and turned to look at Han Beijiang but when she saw Han Xuehan next to him, she had no idea what to say. The two sisters parted on bad terms earlier in the morning; she was worried that her sister might blame her for speaking too much. Anyway, her sister had not seen how ruthless Han Ziyan and their mother could be; thus, it was normal for her to be filled with filial piety.

It was her who was expecting too much from Han Xuehan.

When she thought it over like this, Han Ruochen felt that she had seen the light. She nodded to herself and then took Han Beijiang up in her arms.

"Ruochen, what are you going to cook tonight?" As soon as Han Ruochen straightened up, she heard Han Xuehan’s soft voice. She blinked her eyes and saw her sister looking at her with a soft gaze, seeing the look in her eyes. Han Ruochen knew that this was Han Xuehan’s way of apologising and accepting that what she had said was not wrong.

Han Ruochen heaved a sigh of relief. It was a good thing that her sister was willing to accept that there was nothing wrong with what she said aboity their mother. At least she could change in the future.

"I don’t know; I am thinking of going to the sea." speaking about dinner, Han Ruochen had a headache. They had no time to go and buy groceries.

"Grandma gave some rice to me and second uncle said that he is going to the sea today." Han Xuehan thought about what Second Aunt Han had said today and reminded Han Ruochen, "Ruochen, you should take your second uncle and Zhaodi to the sea. They had been staying at home for so long and there is no income—we even owe some money to second uncle’s family."

Han Ruochen narrowed her eyes. Her sister had not said it out loud but it seemed like there was some friction between her sister and her second aunt. Though Han Ruochen was not close to her second aunt, she knew that her second aunt was not a good woman. She was a brother- loving demon and she often caused trouble at home whenever money matters were concerned.

"Alright. I will take them to the sea today." Han Ruochen rolled her eyes; she never expected that her second aunt would have so much to say just because she did not take her second uncle to the sea. Even if she did not bring her second uncle to the sea, she had arranged a job for him; as long as he worked hard, he could earn a decent sum of money. It was just that her aunt was now used to seeing a hundred and two hundred yuan every day and could not get used to twenty or so yuan so she started complaining.

What was more, with the current situation, even earning twenty yuan was not a small matter. Her aunt was just being greedy because she was now used to taking more money to her maternal home.

Han Xuehan nodded. She also felt that her second aunt was being too greedy but she did not say anything. Anyway, this was the matter of the second branch and had nothing to do with her and Han Ruochen.

So, when Han Ruochen arrived at the second branch’s house, she was not surprised when she heard the howls of her second aunt.

"You damned woman! You really know how to run your mouth. It’s all because of Ruochen that your husband can now earn so much money but after lending them a few yuan, you have something to say? If Ruochen takes your husband to the sea, it is her favour, if she doesn’t take him along, who are you speak in front of them?do you think that I don’t know what you are thinking? The dried meat and rice had vanished without me knowing, do you want me to go your mother’s house and ask for it!?"

Old Madam Han was so angry that she wished she could smash the head open of her second daughter in law and then teach her some good things. This woman usually knew how to stay quiet but it seemed like after earning a few yuan, her back had straightened too much and she had started to look down at Han Ruochen. Now in her eyes, Han Ruochen was supposed to bring her second son to the sea every day like she owed their family something.

"I am sorry, Mom. I will not do it again." Second Aunt Han was upset but she dared not to show it on her face. She knew very well that if she dared to say another word against her mother in law, Old Madam Han would send her away to her maternal home. She had just sent a few things to her mother and if she dared to go back then her mother would have something to say about it. "I ...I was just worried about our family. We are now used to eating meat and fish every other day....if we suddenly start eating coarse grains then how will my sons get used to it? I was worried about them and ended up running my mouth."

As she spoke she slapped her mouth.
