Chapter 1968: Chapter 1968: Time Fades (III)

A lot of people were aware that the dao chess contained the daos of Skyward, yet here Li Hao was, making it publicly available!

That was... madness! But it also induced everyone’s eyes to light up!

So they could share dao and also enter the dao chess to comprehend dao? There were dao notes recorded within the dao chess, and high ranks would hold lectures on dao for three days. This was incredibly good news!

Exalted emperors stirred with impulse, both extremely excited and now highly reluctant for Allheaven Hall to be sabotaged. It might offer the greatest chance for them to gain dao since their birth!

Even Myriad Changes and the other exalted emperors on the mountain jerked with surprise at the announcement. They hadn’t known about these details beforehand.

They’d been concerned that attendees would have certain reservations in mind with the newly established Allheaven Hall. Perhaps that would keep people from freely discussing dao. But with lectures from high ranks and the dao chess as the primary attraction, the path of a premier ninth rank unfolded in front of them.

Just this feature alone would make Allheaven Hall a sacred land of cultivation, if no one brought it down!

All exalted emperors in the chaos might lose their minds if news of this spread.

“It is a good thing for the dao chess to be publicized, but we’re more curious if the Exalted Hao Moon Emperor’s dao of time will be made available!” came another voice in the crowd.

Countless eyes snapped toward that ball of light!

He was crazy, wasn’t he? What faction was the speaker from? It was already a delightful surprise that the dao chess was being opened to the public, but here someone was with their eyes set on time!

“Do you have the right to learn that dao even if we make it available?” The Thunder Emperor looked frostily at the ball of light. It remained wholly unafraid!

Only his mental strength would be damaged if he was killed, so what was there to be scared of?

“The Exalted Hao Moon Emperor wishes to collect ten thousand daos from the universe to complete his own dao,” the voice continued dispassionately. “In that case, why not put time on the shelves and permit everyone to cultivate it! It’s been only a few years since the Exalted Hao Moon Emperor rose to his position, but he’s already a seventh rank.

“Clearly, time is the real dao that leads to the heavens. Since Hao Moon is such a generous person, why not make this dao available as well? All of us can give it a try and see if we can set foot into seventh rank...”

As inappropriate as many found this course of action to be, they remained silent after hearing the unknown speaker’s last words. Truth be told... they dearly wanted to study this dao further.

It was time!

Time was said to be the most mysterious of all daos!

It was incredible and could ensure that one did not die of old age. Life itself could be reversed.

To the rest of the chaos, time deserved all the credit for Li Hao being able to reach seventh rank within a few short years. Ten thousand years might pass in a day for the young man. That was incredible!

The troublemakers were doing whatever they could to drag things out. They were waiting for the powerhouses to trace the origin of Allheaven Hall in the real world.

Lightning crackled in the Thunder Emperor’s eyes as he looked at the ball of light. “You, too, are an eighth rank. You are welcome if you are truly here to discuss dao. But if you are here to cause trouble... then don’t blame me for being merciless!”

His response shook the crowd. That speaker was also an eighth rank? From which faction?

“What, can powerhouses not come and discuss dao?” snorted the ball of light. “Then is Allheaven Hall a place to discuss dao or to satisfy your personal desires? I hear that the dao of time needs to devour ten thousand daos before it can be perfected...

“So did you guys build this thing to share dao or to devour ten thousand exalted emperors?! Li Hao might as well come out and say that he wants to dominate existence and conquer the chaos. Why cower and hide like this??”

The Thunder Emperor’s face darkened even more!

Next to him, Fog Mountain was calmer as he looked at the ball of light. “If you think something is inappropriate or amiss with our enterprise, then you can leave or build your own Allheaven Hall. Publicize your dao. It would be very easy to teach the great dao with your identity as an eight rank.

“Why don’t we see the rest of you share your dao with the chaos?” Fog Mountain chuckled dismissively. “All of you know only how to leech off others. What have you done for the chaos in the past million years? You fight for dominance of the universe and devour weaklings, but do not cultivate your own dao.

“The great dao is meant for cultivation, not to devour! Here you are, causing trouble at the commencement of Allheaven Hall. Everyone knows what you are after!”

Both sides seemed to be playing for time, they simply focused on trading verbal barbs. There were no physical clashes yet.

Fog Mountain and the rest were waiting for Li Hao to emerge, whereas the speaker was waiting for powerhouses to descend upon the construct and kill those in charge.

......

Outside the mirage realm.

Countless cultivators hovered in Silver Moon’s airspace, exalted emperors and Fused Dao alike. They floated in the dao universe, both nervous and excited.

Li Hao had summoned his dao river and the worlds within them. General excitement built as people sensed the worlds within the river. They felt... a certain degree of kinship, a high familiarity!

It was as if those worlds were their own dao, one and the same.

Li Hao glanced at the worlds in the river—some changes had taken place within them. He breathed out as he turned to the crowd. “This will determine our success or failure! It is up to our efforts today to see if you can fully incorporate into my dao!”

He looked at the two dao masters. Gan Wuliang was clearly nervous. A full incorporation... this wasn’t the kind of partnership that they’d participated in before, but a complete integration of their dao into Li Hao’s worlds. They would be able to control the dao within Li Hao’s worlds.

Was that possible?

Gan Wuliang didn’t know.

Hong Yitang was also apprehensive. He didn’t know if this kind of operating mode was reliable, but this might be their only hope at this stage. He took a deep breath and stepped forward. “I’ll go first!”

With that, Hong Yitang ran toward one of the worlds.

He became a river of great dao and entered the world, taking a deep breath when he saw the somewhat scattered dao rules. He melded with the dao rules, seeming to become part of the unbounded chaos as well.

It was a very unfamiliar sensation. Hong Yitang was shaken after his assimilation. The minor world had been a first rank world to begin with, but it began to grow after his inclusion. The great dao shook!

The world began to grow and expand with Hong Yitang’s dao strength. Second rank, third rank...

The world reached peak sixth rank in the blink of an eye!

Jaws dropped at the sight. Hong Yitang was fully part of the world!

Gan Wuliang brightened and abruptly split into many replicas. Each of them darted into a world. All of them were first rank worlds, but suddenly swelled up and grew larger. Their dao strength rose to new heights!

The rest of the exalted emperors leapt into action. They followed traces of presences they were familiar with, heading to various minor worlds.

All of the immaterial worlds saw the inclusion of an exalted emperor. Their strength continuously rose as a result.

Li Hao had previously become one with a thousand immaterial worlds, but they had been first rank worlds. The strength of each world had been minuscule. They’d been the equivalent of regular exalted emperors, but mid worlds appeared in large sums in this moment!

Silver Moon’s dao universe suddenly emptied out. Endless energy and countless dao rules frothed within the young man’s worlds.

Void laughed and entered a world as well, the world of emptiness and revitalization. This world was the core of Li Hao’s second set of one thousand. It’d been fourth rank to begin with and surged with activity when Void entered it.

It became a seventh rank in the blink of an eye!

That immediately prompted a surge of strength toward Li Hao. His river of great dao shook madly! Endless dao strength became one with his river. They fused with the waters without the slightest hint of obstruction. Such was to fold strength upon itself!

It was a complete overlay, not just a partial upgrade. Li Hao even felt like he was on the verge of losing control. His strength had increased too much. All of the dao strength surging into him spontaneously inflated his worlds.

They were still one thousand worlds and not much different from before, but they were completely different in terms of quality.

The minor worlds of moments ago were real worlds of the weakest specimen. But a large quantity of them grew toward mid world in this moment and even some reached high rank—emptiness and revitalization, Orchid Forest, calamity...

All of these worlds became high rank worlds!

Li Hao quietly took stock of his strength. Powerhouses had melded into them and sat in residence on the worlds. The young man took a breath, sensing vigorous strength!

He’d never felt as strong as he did now!

He still possessed one thousand worlds, but his strength now neared four thousand dao rules, compared to the two thousand from before. Li Hao’s strength had nearly doubled, placing him on par with Exalted Emperor Peng Cheng.

However, that seemed to be the limit of his increase. This process had pushed peak seventh rank Li Hao toward eighth rank, making him an eighth rank to take note of, yet that left a gap between him and Reincarnation.

“How about it?” Void’s voice trailed through the void.

“I think I can fight Peng Cheng,” Li Hao smiled. “That chaos beast may not be a match for me!”

Void was delighted, then promptly depressed. Was that all that’d changed?? That wouldn’t do! Both he and Orchid Forest had become part of the worlds, as had a large number of Silver Moon martial masters. But that was all they were good for?

We thought you’d be able to fight Reincarnation!

“That’s not enough!” Void sighed. The Silver Moon martial masters also wilted with disappointment. Was this all they amounted to?

They’d thought that Li Hao would be peak eighth rank, at the very least. That would ensure that the young man could fight Long Zhan!

Li Hao grinned. These powerhouses had taken the minor worlds to peak sixth rank and himself to a strong eighth rank. But they felt that wasn’t enough!

Are you guys overestimating me or yourselves?

Number Two could only replicate seventh rank dao at the moment. Stronger daos, such as those belonging to eighth ranks, were outside its range of abilities. This might be the cat’s upper limit, unless it grew stronger.

Seventh rank daos and fashioning seventh rank worlds were its current restriction. Li Hao was also a seventh rank and yet to make it to eighth rank. It was also hard for him to integrate eighth rank dao into himself.
