Chapter 1954: Chapter 1954: Dao Master (II)

The Exalted Hao Moon Emperor?

If he was the Allheaven dao master... then he was said to be incredibly young. No matter his intentions or if he had goals of sneaking a peek into the dao of all worlds, all that was negligible since he was willing to undertake such an enterprise for the benefit of all.

Could anyone else’s dao measure up to his dao?

What did it matter so long as he didn’t devour all of the worlds impacted by this enterprise?

Everyone involved was an exalted emperor and no one was a fool. They knew that the Silver Moon king might not be doing this out of the goodness of his heart. But again, it didn’t matter!

Nothing else was of concern!

The important thing was that once this enterprise succeeded, then the status quo of the chaos would be upended!

Exalted Emperor Liang Yuan nodded and suddenly voiced some concerns. “I’m afraid of people throwing a wrench into the works and not wanting to welcome this golden age! We are indifferent to the struggle between powerhouses and overlords because it doesn’t make a difference to us who’s in charge, but only the dao master can set up Allheaven Hall. If someone tries to sabotage it...

“What a damned shame that I’m only a fourth rank!” He set his jaw. “I’d rip apart anyone who tries to cause trouble!”

“Would anyone dare??” Rain Demon jerked with astonishment. Was that possible? There were quite a few eighth ranks on the dao master’s side.

“It’s hard to say!” Liang Yuan said heavily. “The fellow daoist also knows of the benefits involved with this setup. This might be to perfect the dao master’s dao. Is everyone willing to see this come to fruition?

“Too many know about Allheaven Hall, we can’t keep it a secret. It’s not possible to keep it a secret either. No one will come if it’s a secret. Some of the protectors even answer to the other overlords. We’ll have some enemies to contend with when the time comes. There might be interference from those who don’t wish to see the dao master take a step forward...”

Rain Demon looked on solemnly. He understood!

“You and I can both think of this when official operations are yet to commence,” he said with some worry and anger. “People are actually willing to share dao under fair and fully anonymous conditions. We can even listen to the lectures of high ranks! It’s normal for people to be jealous in light of that...

“What a pity that we don’t have the ability to help more. I hope that the dao master can handle it!” Rain Demon was concerned, then thought of the defeated Reincarnation. “Speaking of saboteurs, will that one who used to be part of the eastern region be one of the troublemakers? He ruled over the east for many years and many of the alliance of mid worlds are his vassals...”

Liang Yuan nodded. The possibility was very high. He could only transmit, “Ai, let’s wait and see. You and I do not have the ability to resolve this issue. We can only see if the dao master and Senior Myriad Changes can resolve the problems.

“Our alliance of mid worlds also has a few seventh ranks. This is apparently a good chance for Senior Myriad Changes and the others to ascend as well!”

Whoever came to make trouble would be setting himself against the entire group!

Li Hao and the alliance of mid worlds had reached an agreement of mutual benefit. Reincarnation had long been forgotten. He’d done nothing but exert pressure on everyone else when he was the boss. What else had he done?

Nothing at all!

Just endless bullying!

Who wanted someone like that to rule the east?

As for New Martial, people were very much afraid as well, but just afraid. They didn’t care if New Martial would conquer the east or not. They just wanted to know if New Martial would clash with Silver Moon.

The Silver Moon king apparently came from a New Martial basal world, but he’d built his own great dao platform throughout the eastern region. If Liang Yuan and Rain Demon asked themselves, they might... be wary of such a person if they were the ones in charge at New Martial.

The New Martial Human King was said to be extremely petty. Would he be wary of the Silver Moon king and scheme against the young man because of it?

......

Construction of Allheaven Hall proceeded at a rapid pace. Everything went smoothly!

No one had caused trouble yet, even if news of such plans weren’t exactly a secret. It wasn’t possible for them to be a secret, since the platform was meant to appeal to all exalted emperors in the chaos. How would it serve its purpose if no one knew of it?

Therefore, those with strong information networks likely knew of the proceedings, even those of the other three regions. They could even guess that it had something to do with Li Hao.

The dao chess had outright shown itself and continuously set up secret realms. How could that be kept quiet from the rest of the universe?

......

The Ninth City of the alliance of mid worlds.

Everyone was busy, except for Li Hao. He didn’t go anywhere and didn’t need to contribute anything other than some immaterial worlds. He focused on continuously supplementing his minor worlds.

He knew that his actions might result in some trouble. Anyone who read the situation clearly could tell what he intended. The gathering of a multitude of exalted emperors to discuss dao! What else could it be other than collecting a myriad of daos to attain greater comprehension?

Li Hao did not share a grudge with the other three regions, but one had formed nonetheless because Chaos Sky had taken in Reincarnation.

Spring Autumn and the Five Elements didn’t necessarily wish to see another powerhouse rise in the east, either. Long Zhan might also be eyeing them up from the four regions. Would they let Li Hao complete the construction of Allheaven Hall so easily?

Even if they did, they might be waiting for the day of official operations to completely ruin him. There might also be some powerhouses who could locate Li Hao through detecting the ripples from the river of time. They could kill the young man in front of everyone.

Anything was possible.

The existence of Allheaven Hall was a threat to these people. Not only was Li Hao a threat, but the very notion of this platform was a latent threat to some overlords. It was easy for people to develop other thoughts about their current conditions when they knew more of the universe. Would exalted emperors under their command still bow their heads to overlord rule after entering Allheaven Hall?

Within the alliance city.

Chaos strength surged into the river of dao and melded into the various minor worlds. It took place at a very fast pace!

Li Hao had completed saturating twelve hundred minor worlds thus far. It’d been only three months. The young man had filled many worlds in a short period after his integration with the chaos. He was averaging one every two or three days. Combined with the number he’d saturated during his previous integration, that meant he’d saturated a full two hundred.

That was a very, very fast pace!

However, twelve hundred worlds was at most twenty-four hundred if converted to non-world domain dao rules. In reality, it was much closer to two thousand dao rules. This kind of strength would enable Li Hao to exchange a few blows with Fog Mountain and the others, but leave him no hope against a strong eighth rank.

There was no one beside him at present but Number Two standing guard not too far away.

“Someone’s coming!” the cat said when its ears twitched.

Li Hao opened his eyes.

“Senior Hao Moon...” sounded a voice.

“Come in!”

An apprehensive Wan Qiu flew in moments later.

“Senior Hao Moon, seven hundred entrances have been established for Allheaven Hall,” she said carefully. “Although we did not complete them within three months, we will have them all done within one more month at the most!

“Senior Myriad Changes... wished for me to convey to the senior... that there might be some changes with the gathering of exalted emperors in a month. The six elders of the alliance—all seventh ranks—including myself, are willing to be on duty then...”

She was uneasy. They’d created quite a disturbance lately, but no one had reacted. The more the quiet stretched out, the more uncanny the silence was!

Although most of the worlds in the alliance were mid worlds, they had some seventh ranks at the end of the day. With her in the mix, that made for six seventh ranks. It was a lot. That kind of strength put them on par with regular eighth rank worlds.

But when it came to such an affair, just a few seventh ranks wouldn’t settle the trouble!

“Senior Myriad Changes means for me to ask...” Wan Qiu asked hesitantly. “If... New Martial... could come... and hold down the fort... on that day?”

They dearly wished for New Martial to be involved on that day. It would also be an opportunity to see if New Martial and Silver Moon were still aligned.

“Have you received word of something?” asked Li Hao.

“It’s said that the Exalted Reincarnation Emperor and Peng Cheng did not return to Chaos Sky major world,” Wan Qiu answered after a brief pause. “But that they went to the north and south instead, meeting with the Five Elements and Spring Autumn overlords. Perhaps they...”

Perhaps they were wary of what New Martial was undertaking and hoped to bring the eastern region to heel before it was fully unified!

Whatever it was, Wan Qiu was very worried that something untoward would develop a month later. If troubles cropped up, exalted emperors would be deterred from entering the mirage realm once they felt that their safety wasn’t guaranteed. That didn’t even take into account what else might result if a portion of the protectors were killed!

Perhaps their enemies wouldn’t even move against Li Hao and just target all of the protectors instead!

How would anyone enter Allheaven Hall if there was no doorway? Would anyone dare access the secret realm then?

“Are you worried that the three sides will temporarily ally against us?” Li Hao asked calmly.

“Yes!” Wan Qiu nodded. “That is my fear—and not just me, but one shared by all of the elders. While everyone knows that this is a beneficial enterprise, we are only an alliance of mid worlds at the end of the day.”

They wouldn’t be concerned if they were an alliance of major worlds!

“In addition, Arctic Frost and the other worlds might be colluding with outsiders. They might cause trouble on that day as well! We can’t even guarantee if a portion of the protectors aren’t actually their people.

“Once the secret realm is damaged and some entrances disappear, leading to injuries in the mental strength of countless exalted emperors... our credibility will be gravely impacted!”

They hadn’t thought of conducting their affairs on such a grand scale prior to this, but now that it had reached these heights, the attraction of a platform for sharing dao would be greatly decreased if the hosts lacked credibility and the risk was high for entering.

What use would their construction be if no one came?

“This is the place where I shall verify my dao,” Li Hao remained as calm as ever. “This is relevant to the future and my ascension to eighth rank, even ninth rank. Although I do not wish to provoke strong enemies, if anyone dares interfere and sever my future... I will strike back! A hundred or a thousandfold!

“There is no need for the fellow daoist to worry. The core area can be set in the Ninth City. If Fellow Daoist Myriad Changes and the others are concerned about the dangers, then there is no need for them to come themselves. They can just send their mental strength.

“They can come in person if they would like to offer some help. If anyone attacks us, then I’m afraid I will need the alliance to take action...”

It was their choice if they came or not. Li Hao didn’t say anything.

“Of course we hope for everything to proceed smoothly,” Wan Qiu quickly said. “I will definitely stay, but will have to ask the others.”

“Very well.”

Wan Qiu was still uneasy upon seeing that this was all that Li Hao was willing to share, but she didn’t ask him further questions. The woman left.
