Alex gave a faint smile after hearing those words and replied in a friendly tone, "Don't worry. I have no intention of betraying the trust you've placed in me."

The Horned Desert King looked directly at Alex before calmly replying, "I am certain that is the case, human. Come into my home. It contains the entire accumulated collection of my pack."

For a brief moment, several excuses crossed Alex's mind.

He could have easily claimed that humans considered entering another creature's home disrespectful, or something else.

However, after seeing how much importance this mutated Flygon placed on honesty, Alex ultimately decided to simply tell the truth instead.

He remained silent for several seconds before finally speaking in an honest tone. "I'm sorry, but I don't want to do that, Even though we trust each other more now than before, it's still far too early for me to completely lower my guard around someone as powerful as you."

He then smiled slightly before continuing, "I hope you can understand that and bring the collection outside instead, if possible."

The Horned Desert King showed no particular anger or dissatisfaction after hearing such an obvious expression of mistrust. On the contrary, he could completely understand why a much weaker human would hesitate to willingly walk into the home of a Pokémon powerful.

The mutated Flygon slowly nodded in acknowledgment before suddenly releasing a loud roar that echoed throughout the entire mountain range.

The sound spread across the rocky cliffs like thunder.

It did not take long before several Pokémon rapidly began approaching the area after hearing the call of the Horned Desert King.

13 Flygon, one Vibrava, and two Trapinch swiftly arrived near the cave entrance.

Since most of their dens and resting places were located very close to the Horned Desert King's cave, they had heard his roar immediately and without difficulty.

Alex calmly observed the approaching Pokémons while discreetly checking the information of every single one of them.

As he finished examining their levels and potential, he felt a slight sense of disappointment.

Although the pack appeared extremely impressive at first glance, the actual talent of the Pokémon was not nearly as extraordinary as he had initially thought.

Among the thirteen Flygon, only one had reached the low Champion level at Level 60. Even that Flygon merely possessed a Deep Gold potential, which strongly suggested that it had likely become so strong primarily because of its advanced age and long life span.

Three of the Flygon were late Elite level Pokémon, all possessing Gold potential.

Seven others were mid Elite level, with potentials ranging from Gold to Deep Silver.

The remaining two Flygon were only Level 46 and Level 48 respectively, both possessing Shallow Gold potential.

As for the lone Vibrava and the two Trapinch, all three merely possessed A-Rank potential and were nothing particularly special.

Although the overall strength and potentialof the pack sounded extremely impressive on paper, Alex quickly realized that their actual talent was far less remarkable once one considered their current levels and ages.

None of these Pokémon appeared to possess an innate potential higher than Deep Silver.

Even the Level 60 Flygon most likely began life with only Deep Silver potential.

Because it had probably lived for a very long time, consumed countless resources and Pokémon over the years, and survived numerous battles, it had eventually managed to slowly raise its potential to Deep Gold.

The fact that its Deep Gold potential rating was only 2% made that theory seem even more believable in Alex's eyes.

That was precisely why, in Alex's eyes, the overall quality of this Pokémon pack could only be considered average.

For most Pokémon species, possessing born potential ranging from Silver to Deep Silver would already be fairly impressive.

However, Dragon-type Pokémon were fundamentally different from ordinary Pokemon species.

Among Dragon-types, such levels of talent were not especially rare.

Even Pokémon born with Shallow Gold potential were relatively "common" (still rare) among stronger Dragon-type bloodlines.

Because of that, Alex did not consider this pack particularly special. At least, that was the case if one excluded the mutated Flygon and his mate from the equation.

Those two alone dramatically elevated the overall power and potential of the entire group.

Alex then quietly watched as the various members of the pack began entering the cave of the Horned Desert King before returning while carrying all kinds of items in their claws and mouths.

One after another, they began placing objects in front of Alex and his Pokémon.

The collection included evolution stones, Fossils, valuable minerals, pieces of old equipment, and many strange objects that appeared to have been gathered from dead humans or abandoned camps over many years.

Throughout the entire process, the Horned Desert King deliberately maintained a respectful distance from Alex and his Pokémon.

It was obvious that he was intentionally doing so in order to demonstrate that he held no hostile intentions toward them anymore.

Alex slowly examined the so-called "collection" while silently evaluating the value of each item.

Unfortunately, most of the items were little more than junk that aren't worth much money. Only about a quarter of the items were things that could be sold for a decent sum.

Then Alex suddenly noticed something among the pile of objects.

Six human skulls.

For a brief moment, he looked slightly surprised. Pokémon occasionally collected strange things, especially intelligent Pokémon, but it was actually quite uncommon for them to specifically keep the bones or skulls of humans or Pokémon.

The Horned Desert King quickly noticed where Alex's gaze had settled.

After several seconds of silence, the mutated Flygon calmly said, "I hope it does not bother you that I collect such things."

Alex looked at the skulls for a moment with an indifferent expression before calmly replying, "It doesn't bother me."

He then added in an calm tone, "Pokémon die every single day, so it is only natural that humans die as well. It's nothing out of the ordinary."
